But is time really the most efficient teacher? Do we all learn with the passing of time?

When it is based on the idea that as time goes it brings some wisdom and understanding. I will agree that time can teach us but it is not necessarily true in every cases.
Some people are not good when it come to learning from experience. If we depend on time to teach us vital skills, lessons and other things. We may get the lesson at a time that is late for application.
Some people will really learn better reading from a book, others learn from a mentors, and another group still prefere to learn from their own mistakes. The point here is that I agree that time can certainly be a teacher, but not the best or only teacher.
Time as a teacher will take 3 years to teach a lesson that could be passed in 30 minutes.

When I started working as a teacher in a local private school, even when I passed through some training, I still made a lot of mistakes in my lesson note and assessment records. As time passed, learning from one mistake after another, at a point my work started looking good with few mistakes.
I learn from the mistakes and became better at my work as I gained more experience. At a point I became confident in my abilities and started teaching new teachers.

Yes I believe as time goes, we get to know who was a true friend. We also learn more about our relationship and it's values. We know who is honest with time.
I had a friend who was a good companion at a time. And the ups and downs of live has it, I got to a point where I could not take care of things as before. This friend had a change in character and attitude towards me. I started to feel bad. I now knew that the friendship was depending on my ability to provide material things and not because of love. It was time that teach me that lesson.

Indeed time is a great teacher, @gentlesun, your explanation using your personal self, on your improvement when you started teaching in a private school is a lovely example.

আসলে মানুষ সময় থেকে কিছু ভালো শিক্ষা অর্জন করে আবার কিছু খারাপ। তবে সময় আমাদের অভিজ্ঞতার একজন শিক্ষক এটা আমরা মানতে রাজি। সেই সাথে আপনি যখন একটা স্কুলের শিক্ষক হিসেবে নিয়োগ পেয়েছেন। তখন বিভিন্ন ধরনের রেকর্ড রাখতে আপনার অনেক সমস্যা হয়েছে। পরবর্তীতে একটা একটা করে আপনি আপনার ভুল থেকে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করেছেন। এবং আপনি আপনার কাজকে বেশ সুন্দরভাবেই উপস্থাপন করতে পেরেছেন।
আপনার একজন বন্ধু ছিল যে কিনা আপনার খুব প্রিয় ছিল। কিন্তু সময়ের ব্যবধানে সেই বন্ধু এখন অনেক দূরে। আসলে প্রকৃত বন্ধু কখনোই আপনাকে ছেড়ে যায় না। যে সততার সাথে কাজ করে সে চায় আপনিও তার সাথে কাজ করুন। ধন্যবাদ আপনার মতামত আমাদের সাথে উপস্থাপন করার জন্য ভালো থাকবেন।
