I have always worked wherever there was a business; if there wasn't one, I would create it. It was a rebirth to generate income in life. With the ups and downs that life brings, until my knee got damaged. I had surgery, and they told me I would be walking again in a month, but I couldn’t do so for a year. Seeing that my situation wasn't changing, I tried to find ways to make money online. I looked at everything but didn’t find anything useful. So I started uploading videos to YouTube, but they said it would take two years to achieve something, just like on all social networks, until I saw a video of a girl talking about Hive. Then I created an account on Hive, but I wasn’t earning anything, and the RC never recovered, so I had few posts and little experience in writing. Until I kept searching and found Steemit.
When I found Steemit, I initially struggled with the use of images and uploading content, as I was posting the same things on Hive and Steemit, and I was corrected. That’s how I learned how it worked and started earning more money. I was able to help pay the bills in my house, at least giving me a small relief. The truth is, I never managed to walk well again, so I don’t work; I could only rent a house, and that’s how I sustain myself. My wife, seeing me in trouble and with little money, left me, so I am alone and short on cash. But that’s life, and one must not give up, as everyone experiences a part of life with its impossibilities.
My first achievement on Steemit was a disaster; I was corrected 20 times before it was ready. Little by little, I reached achievement 4, and by not giving up, I’ve been in a bit of a standstill for almost 2 years now, but it has become a way for me to express my feelings and thoughts. At least it’s a way to share. I didn’t come out well after so many blows, but I hope one day to be able to smile with happiness for a long time.
The good thing about Steemit is that you can earn alternatively by participating in contests, which are a source of wealth for Steemit, because they provide support and ideas for things to publish.
And I’m always eager to publish something, whether it works or not. I find that posts don't get votes for days, while some receive many votes after a few days, knowing that this is how human reactions work in the community. You just have to wait with confidence.
