This is quite an interesting topic. First, let me give a description of karma and destiny.

What do you believe in Karma(deeds) or Destiny?
I believe in Karma(deeds). I believe that our actions decide what happens to us. I believe that the actions we took in the past determine what happens to us in the present and even the actions we take in the present will determine what will happen to us in the future.
For example, if you're a student and you refuse to study well enough, you will eventually fail in your future exam.
According to you, what is superior? Karma (deeds) or Destiny. Why?
I believe karma is superior. While destiny is seen as something related to the future or something that cannot be avoided no matter what you do, I believe that karma is superior to it. As a matter of fact, I think karma controls destiny.
In my opinion, we decide our future to a large extent. Your fitness level in the future depends on how much you exercise today. Your health status in the future depends on your lifestyle today. If you are reckless about how you live, the things you take, there will surely be consequences in the future.
I do not believe that we are helpless about the future and that whatever the future has in store for us must happen. I think that we decide and control our future by our deeds.

As a medical student, we take several professional exams. These exams determine if you will be able to move over to the higher class or not. One has to have good test scores in order to stand a higher chance of passing. My test scores were really poor. There was so much doubt that I would pass the exam.
A lot of people doubted that I could. I decided that I should control my future. I made a decision to work very hard. I had a lot of sleepless nights because I was studying. I decided that my actions would ensure a positive future. Eventually, I wrote the exam and passed. It was unbelievable to many. I was happy that I took that decision to determine my future by my present deeds.
Conclusion
Our deeds have so much power. We have to be careful and intentional about what we do today. Karma has a huge effect. I believe we have control over the outcome of our lives to a large extent.
