In the end of the week and the last contest of season #7. I am going to participate in the Steemit Engagement Contest Organized by Incredible India. The theme for this week contest is "My nostalgic childhood memories" and I am going to share some of my nostalgic memories with you guys.

Share the best moment of your childhood.

---

Childhood is the best part of our whole life. I have a lot to share with my steemit family from my childhood. But due to the limitation I will share some beautiful memories from my childhood, which was a memory or an adventure you can say.

So when I was in 2nd class we lived in mansehra for two years, after that my father had a new job in peshawar so we had to shift to peshawar because of my father’s job. So, the day when we had to leave mansehra, everyone was so upset. We spent two years over there and our house owner’s family got really attached to us. We were in the same school and in the same classes as them so on the day it was early in the morning and they were all crying and not going to school, we had our luggage with us in a truck and we were going in a separate car but then we old our father that we want to sit in the back of the truck because that would be more fun and adventurous.

The route from mansehra to Peshawar is 227 km, which is about 3 hours and 30 minutes. We spent the whole way playing in the truck, and at times it was very cold so we took one blanket from the luggage and we slept in there. It was so much fun.

After an hour my father brought us some fresh oranges so we ate literally a lot of oranges. The whole time I was just so happy and feeling so much peace. I was about 6-7 years old at that time and I was so amazed watching everything around us, the beautiful sky, the greenery and the fresh air.

This was the most adventurous moment when I observed nature and had an amazing journey, literally childhood is the time you can do anything because now I might not get the opportunity to do so.

Did you have any crushes during your student life? You can share the story with us.

Well, Children are of pure hearts and they don’t know what love actually is. We consider love as anyone who takes care of us, with whom we shake hands, who gives us gifts or something. For me in my childhood every person who did something like that for me was my crush.

Honestly, I don’t really remember if I had any crush back in the school because everyone was my friend and I considered each person as my classmate so I didn’t have any that madness type crush but of course we all have some people, who we like to talk and spend time with.

I don’t have any exact story about my crush and I also don’t really know if anyone has a crush on me. Currently I can’t remember anything that made me feel like liking somebody so no story for now.

Did you a scholarly student or only loved to play during childhood

---

I was an excellent student in primary school and slowly weakened in studies after secondary education started.

Moreover, I loved to play a lot. I was very energetic and creative. I used to play in our street till evening and my mother was always mad at me because whenever I got some free time I used to escape from home to play with my friends.

I was so flexible with people and that’s why I made many friends wherever I went and then played with them after school.

I used to skip a lot and I was a winner always as I was very energetic and no one could ever beat me at that. Apart from skipping I loved to play tennis and I was also very good at it. I got first in tennis in my school, 2nd in the running race and also got 1st in table tennis in the annual sports competition.

Apart from play i along with my brother and sister won the creative writing competition in the school from our respective classes. so , I was a good student at academic activities as well as in sports.

Share your best childhood achievement moment.

I would love to share one of my achievement memories which I am the most proud of, I had many leadership qualities from childhood and I always took part in all kinds of competitions at school. I was a good reader and a good speaker also.

One day I was in class 7th and I was called to the principal's office. I was very scared because our school principal was very strict and I did not have any idea about why she was calling me.

When I reached the office our english teacher was standing outside the office and she told me that teachers have given your name for being a representative from our school for the grand ceremony at Qila Bala Hisar. Actually our school was associated with the army so our school students were invited to Qila bala hisar for the event and my teachers gave my name as the representative and leader of the group that was going to participate in the event.

That moment was so special for me because all of our teachers chose me for this great responsibility. I had a small discussion with my principal and she took a small interview to check if I am really trustworthy and fit for taking the responsibility.

After a day I was finally selected to be the representative and I still remember that moment, the spark in my eyes and the proud head up standing at the lead position.

If there is one thing you would like to change from your childhood, what would you love to change?

---

Childhood is never perfect, we talk silly at times, act stupid where not, and make mistakes a lot but that is when we learn what is right and what is wrong and how one could overcome the mistakes they have made. We all are familiar with the quote which was something like, “We used pencil when we were small but now we use pens ... Do you know why ? Because mistakes in childhood can be erased but not now” This quote tells us the importance of childhood where mistakes made can be erased and we can learn from them and I think that’s why childhood is childhood and beautiful.

In my opinion there is nothing to change in my childhood but if ever I can go back to childhood I would love to live those beautiful moments again with my friends that are no more there for me.
