Trekking Excursion to Mochima Nacional Park 🏞️
Hello everyone in this wonderful community. Today I want to share with you a special trip that I took a few days ago. I hope you like it and comment how you liked it.
Hiking to Mochima is a journey on foot, approximately 7 km with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. We start from the Bella Vista checkpoint, to Playa el Pozo.
In order to make the trekking trip to Mochima, they told us that the hiker had to meet certain requirements such as:
Do not suffer from vertigo
Possess optimal physical condition.
Not having joint or cervical problems.
Last but not least not having joint or cervical problems.
Recommendations:
In these summer days where the sun is inclement around noon and in the afternoon, it is very important to carry at least two liters of water per person. It is essential to bring your own hydration for the entire journey.
Wear appropriate clothing for the activity (long tights and overalls), as well as comfortable and all-terrain shoes because they will surely get dirty and puddled with mud and dirt.
Bring sunscreen and a hat (As I said before due to the inclement sun). Also, if possible, bring repellent (I take a small bottle of antibacterial gel for mosquitoes).
Bring clothes to bathe on the beach and change for the return to their homes.
Finally we arrived without mishaps to the very fine camp, where we found fruits. There, after taking some photos, we rested for a while and they gave us fried fish, avocado, salad, plantains, and arepas for lunch. An excellent plate of food that everyone there loved. I want to congratulate the group of Mochima Extrema and CYC Tours for their excellent work that they are doing in publicizing the wonderfulness of the Sucre state and promoting tourism in the region.
Have a great week. Always remember to celebrate the adventurous spirit that we all carry within but always taking the necessary precautions to reduce risks.
