Steem Engagement Challenge : s7/w3 [My Last Family Holiday Experience]

It was the week before Christmas and my family was buzzing with excitement. We had planned a special holiday trip to the mall to do some last minute shopping and to check out the festive decorations.

Why did you choose to visit that place?

We actually did chose to visit this mall because the access is much safer for traffic purposes. And also since it was a last minute shopping the less the crowd the better and ofcourse much comfier. As soon as we arrived at the mall, we were greeted by the sight of twinkling lights and giant Christmas trees. We strolled through the mall, taking in all the sights and sounds of the holiday season. The kids were wide-eyed with wonder as they looked at all the colorful displays and animated figures.

We made our way to the toy store where the kids picked out some gifts for each other. My nieces and nephews couldn't decide between a Barbie doll and a new lego set, but eventually went with the lego set. My nephew, on the other hand, knew exactly what he wanted and picked out the latest video game.

2.Share the experiences you gathered while visiting the place.

It was a really fun experience since its not the frequent that we gather with the whole family most of the times others have their own schedules or errands that needed to be taken care of so this time around the place is just secondary what really matters is that we enjoyed each others company.

Next, we hit the department store where we found some great deals on clothes and accessories. My sisters picked out a new dress for Christmas Eve and I found a new shirt and tie. We also bought some new decorations for our Christmas tree at home.

3.Do you have any noteworthy incidents or moments you faced while traveling to that place?

If there is a noteworthy incident is that we gave some gifts to the security guards of the mall , this is to show the generosity of us Filipinos specially this time of the Holiday.

After a few hours of shopping, we were all getting pretty tired, so we decided to take a break and grab some lunch. We found a cozy little café where we enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and hot cocoa.

4.Which thing did you enjoy the most in that place?

The thing that we enjoyed the most is eating ofcourse and also buying new shoes and shirts for Christmas and also the gifts to the persons we love and cherish.

After lunch, we continued our shopping trip with renewed energy. We picked up some last minute gifts for our friends and family, and even found a few things for ourselves. As the day came to a close, we were all feeling pretty good about our haul and headed back home.

Christmas Eve was just as magical as our trip to the mall. We had decorated the house with all the new ornaments and lights, and it looked absolutely beautiful. We spent the evening cooking a delicious dinner and enjoying each other's company. We took turns opening our gifts, and everyone was happy with what they received.

As the night went on, we sang Christmas carols and played board games. The kids were exhausted by the time they went to bed, but we adults stayed up a little longer, talking and laughing.

It was the perfect end to a perfect day, and I was so grateful to have my family by my side to share in the joy of the holiday season. It was a Christmas that we will always remember fondly, and I know we will look back on it with fond memories for years to come.

5.Would you like to visit that place once again with your family?

Absolutely, we always went there even not the holiday season. We always bring the kids to play there and enjoy
