Firstly, thank you @Incredible India for bringing such a warm topic as a contest, so that while writing, we can remember again what friendships mean to us and how few friends turned into our family.

According to you, what is the Value of friendship?

I am someone who hardly makes friends because I believe friendship is all about trust. And in today’s world, you can’t trust everyone. So, I have a small friend circle but I trust them to the core. For me, friendship is where we can be ourselves, we can cry and open our hearts to them, laugh at silly things, and without being judged.

Do you believe we can share various things with friends that we can't share with our blood relation? Justify your answer.

Yes, there are many things in life that we can only share with our friends and not with our blood relationships. Especially about our feelings, insecurities in life, family issues, and many more because family won’t understand all these things. They will mostly say that we are overthinking.

We can’t even share our stress, anxiety, and depression-related things with our family members because they will be stressed for us rather than understanding us. And, friends are someone who will understand us and help they will help us heal.

Share about your first close friend and mention whether you are still in touch or not!

I had many friends in my life but I wasn’t close to anyone to the extent that I call them my best friend. Six years back, however, I got in touch with one of my school friends, who turned out to be my best friend since then till date. And I hope it remains this way. He is the one person I call up first when something good happens, when I don’t understand anything, when I need any help or I just want someone to listen to me when nothing is going right in my life.

Do you have any memorable incidents with your friend? Share.

Every moment with my friend is memorable as no one understands me better than him. Today, the writer side of me is here because of him; he trusted me that I could write well. I am into spirituality because he guided me and told me about how life changes when you start doing meditation, mantra chanting, and prayers. Today, my life revolves around spirituality and my perspective in life has changed and so did I. I am not the old Manisha after meeting him.
