Steem engagement challenge-S12/W2|I would love to prefer-"A Village lifestyle"

Hope you all are well.
Today I'm going to participate in our Community Engagement Challenge Season 12/W2 contest. I hope you all already know about this week's beautiful topic. Many of you have already participated in this contest, but those who haven't participated yet I request them to definitely participate in this contest.

I can't remember exactly, but somewhere I read a very beautiful line, when everyone asks us when we are children, - "What do you want to be when you grow up, we all give different answers."

But when we grow up, if someone asks us, what do you want to do, - then probably one answer comes from the heart of each of us, - "I want to go back to childhood". We cherish this desire.

My childhood was spent in a remote village. It would be wrong to say just childhood, 24 years since birth were spent in my village. And to be honest I have spent the best 24 years of my life in my village. Today, when I remember those old days, I feel that if life could be started once again from childhood, I would have kept many things with much more care.

Hope you all understand after reading these lines, between city life and village life which life I will choose. Of course I would choose village life, because I have spent most of my life in my village.

Good aspects of village life:-

Since I have chosen village life, I am trying to bring out some good aspects and some challenging aspects of through my writings. First of all I will try to show you some good aspects of village life.

• When we hear the word village, the nature surrounded by greenery floats in front of our eyes. Where rice field on one side, river running on the other side and some houses in the middle. Although several buildings can be seen today, in earlier days most of the houses in the village were mud houses. To be honest, a village is a safe place to breathe. Due to the abundance of trees in the village, the air is still clean. And breathing that clean air is healthy for everyone.

• Even today you will find a touch of sincerity among the villagers. Although the population towards the city is very high,but humanity is almost extinct among them. Till now, the villagers come forward and lend a helping hand when any of the people in the village are in danger. But even if you call out for help in the city, there are very few people who will come forward and help you. So from that point of view, there are still many humane people living in the village.

• These days there is no such thing as seasonal fruits or seasonal vegetables. You can find all kinds of fruits and vegetables all year round in the big markets in the city. But we all know that they are stored with various chemicals throughout the year, which are harmful to our body. But we buy those things at a much higher price. All kinds of vegetables or fruits may not always be available in the village. But to get chemical free fruits and vegetables you must go to the village.

• There are still many people in the village who keep different types of animals at home. Like cows, goats, chickens, ducks, they earn money by rearing them. That is why villagers still get pure milk and eggs in exchange for money. Sometimes you will not get pure milk and eggs even in exchange of money in such city areas.

• All the people of the village are still trying to observe their ancient traditions and various reforms. This is why some ritual is celebrated in the village almost every month. But this is not the case in urban areas. Because the busyness of the city is so much that many do not have time to observe the old traditions and reforms. From that point of view, the people of the village have retained the lost tradition.

• Even today in the village all the children play together. However, nowadays children have almost stopped playing with each other because of mobiles and computers. But still if compared, village children are more social with each other than city children and like themselves they play different kinds of games. I didn't really have a mobile in my childhood, but the joy of playing with everyone was different. Which really kids these days can't experience.

Challenging aspects of the village:-

There are many other good aspects of the village like this. But now I will share with you some challenging aspects of the village.

• The first challenge that comes to mind is medical treatment. Every one knows that villages may have rural hospitals, but there the treatment is not that advanced. Because there is no opportunity to treat critical patients in rural hospitals. Even one to two doctors treat all diseases. It is not possible to treat different diseases separately in the village like in the city. And this is exactly why there are many people who die due to lack of proper treatment at the right time.

• The second problem I will talk about is the communication system. Till now the communication system towards the village is not that much improved. There are many villages where the roads are still not good, so you won't get any vehicles to get there. But there are also many villages, which have developed a lot especially after the construction of public roads, the communication system has improved a lot.

• In terms of education, the village is still far behind. In earlier days the village had only primary schools, where classes from one to four were taught. Then they had to go far to go to high school. But now the primary schools have mostly become high schools. However, if you want to go to college or university after finishing high school, you still have to go far. Besides, if other subjects like polytechnic, medical, engineering are to be studied, then everyone has to come to the city. Even today, the village is lagging behind. That is why there are many talents, who cannot develop due to lack of proper system.

• It is true that electricity has reached most of the villages. However, due to the high number of trees in the village, when there is a rainstorm, the branches of the trees break and the power lines are torn down. As a result, power goes out in the village occasionally and sometimes lasts for long periods. At that time really many problems have to be faced.

Of course I believe that our thought process changes with lifestyle and environment. For example, I must share something with you. You all know that every villager lives a very simple life, where their clothes, food habits are very normal.

However, it can be seen that over time, a family or a member of the family from the village has been living in the city for a long time either for study or for work. Although they face many problems in adapting to the city life style and environment at first, they eventually get used to the city life.

When those people come to the village after a while, they have a lot of problems to adjust in the village. Then the village roads become impassable for them, they get bored because of the electricity problem, and the people with whom they grew up from childhood, when they rushes with sincerity to meet everyone in his or her family, they don't even like to spend time with those common people.

Because by then they have become accustomed to spend their time with the people of the city. So spending time with village people becomes more of a problem for them. I share these incident with you from my personal life experience. Because I see many such people in my village, who have come from the city to the village, but they no longer have the same relationship with the village people. Because they all got used to the city life style and environment.

Anyway I really enjoyed participating in this competition. Where I could share my various feelings about my village with you all. Also I have shared some pictures of my village with you, hope you like to see them.
