How are you all? I hope you all are fine and doing great. Today I am here to participate in the challenge, "My last family holiday."

Last year in August, I dwelled in Varanasi(North India) with my cousin and nephew.
It was a fabulous venture because;
for the first time, I visited that place. The city is recognized in various aspects.

Holy Ganges river is known worldwide, and besides that;
Silk weaving, and crafts, Lord Shiva, Buddha also recorded Pali philosophy near Sarnath(a place in Varanasi) to have given his first sermon.

1.Why did you choose to visit that place?

Honestly! I didn't choose the place to visit. My elder brother is attached to the textile trade;
and he often dwells in the site.

As I mentioned above, the place is famous for Varanasi silk sarees.
Last year he invited me to lash him, and I agreed though it was only a three days trip.

But in India, Varanasi is one of the prominent locations as it carries chronological values. I deem myself fortunate to get a prospect to visit the place.

2.Share the experiences you gathered while visiting the place.

I compiled myriad adventures, whether it was about witnessing Gold made Kashi Vishwanath Temple(Lord Shiva Temple), producing handloom sarees, and Buddha Temple in Sarnath Varanasi. I also enjoyed sitting in the bank of gages at dusk with my nephew and relished shopping and food.

3.Do you have any noteworthy incidents or moments you faced while traveling to that place?

It was midnight when we reached Varanasi. My brother booked an auto, and the distance to the hotel was almost more than an hour's journey.

The road crosses a bridge where the place of cremation and my brother told me that the fire in that place the fire does not go out. As most of us are scared of ghosts, and it was almost midnight,
and I visited the location for the first time;

I was already scared inside. All of a sudden, our auto stopped on that bridge. The auto driver tried several times to restart the vehicle;

but he failed to start. My mind was recalling all the stories shared by my brother. Time passed, but the conveyance was not ready to start.

After almost 45 minutes, one auto came;
and at last, we reached the hotel with that vehicle.

4.Which thing did you enjoy the most in that place?

I enjoyed the local market, the collection of sarees, several temples, holy gages, and Rabri(sweet).

If anyone visits Varanasi, they will comprehend the value of Indian history and how some people still hold our old lost traditions.

5.Would you like to visit that place once again with your family?

I would love to dwell in Varanasi once again with my family. This time I would love to stay at the lodging not only for three days;

but for at least a week. Because in the short time, I missed visiting various temples.

Conclusion

Indeed family is our backbone, but for me, everyone is my family;
whoever remained beside me whenever I had gone through a tough time. It is not about our blood relationships.

However, I enjoyed taking part in this challenge, and I would love to invite my dear friends @petface, @chiabertrand and @inspiracion to take part in this challenge.
