Incredible India monthly contest of August #2| My opinion about community system!

Community can be compared to unity and we know that unity is strength. This goes same here in steemit. Virtual communities build a network that can help people to be more social and close to each other. My opinion on community system here quite positive and when we think about it more, we can realize the contribution of communities.

The aim behind building a community is not selfish. A community mostly build with the intention of helping each other. Here in steemit a community curator account grow with the help of users and use the voting power for authors and this sounds pretty awesome. Steemit team bring the concept of community and I must say this was indeed a wise initiative.

1. Are you for or against the community system on the steemit platform? Share your opinion with proper rationale!

There is no valid reason behind being against the community system of steemit. Its true that I couldn't build a community for several reasons but that doesn't mean that I'm against the community stystem or concept. This is true that many community admins build community for their personal interest and goals but a real community admin definitely care about the reputation and never compromise with it.

Since November 2020 I've worked with many communities and met community admins. I still can remember those names of communities that no longer available in this platform but earned huge with the help of whale curators. Can you remember the community steem food, Steem women club and there are many names in this list that no longer available?

There are many communities still exist and seems will never broke the trust of authors and curators. I would love to mention two oldest communities in this platform that holding the reputation and the unity, those are WOX (World Of Xpilar) and Italy community and I have great experience sharing my writing with these communities.

1. Do you think communities hold any significance for newbies and other users? How?

Yes definitely communities contribute on growth of newbies by arranging contests and offering support from curator account. A community leader and team work hard to guide newbies and help them with the guidelines. I personally saw community admins helping users to learn about club, how steemit works, power up process and many more things.

At the beginning a newbie may find things complicated and community admins show them the right ways and this way a community start building with good authors. A community mostly committed to help the active users of it and this deserves appreciation. I saw steemit team encourage building new communities with specific niches.

1. If all communities quit operating on the steemit platform, do you manage yourself on this platform? Share your opinion.

Community building can bring more progress and that's true but we can practice blogging here individually too and this is the awesomeness of steemit. We write for different communities and it is our personal choice that where I'm comfortable to share. Personally I believe, if communities stop operating here in steemit then it doesn't going to affect the platform. There are many authors publish their blogs on their own blog using relevant hashtags.

But as I said the contests and events planned by communities can be missed if it will be no longer available. A bridge will be missing on steemit river if communities will be no longer available. Communities can be compared to the bridge when steemit can be compared to a river and we users are the fishes inside the water of river.
