Welcome to the post. I hope that all of you will be doing well and enjoying the time with the grace and blessings of Almighty Allah. Today, I'm here to be a part of the week 5 contest in the Incredible India community. The topic of discussion for this week is The three significant reasons behind environmental pollution. So, let's start the discussion without any wastage of time.

There are so many reasons behind the environmental pollution because it is one of the most serious issue that the whole world is facing in these days. However, some of the important reasons behind the environmental pollution are given below.

• Industrial Effluents:

One of the major reason behind the high degree of environmental pollution is the harmful chemicals and toxic substances that are released from the industries. There are lot of industries that release their toxic by products and wastes directly into the ponds and other water bodies. These industrial effluent are becoming a source of environmental pollution.

• Smoke From Traffic:

Another major reason behind the rapid growth of the environmental pollution is the toxic smoke which has from the burning of fuel in the engines of the vehicles. The growing rate of private transport is contributing a lot towards the growth of the environmental pollution that's why it is always preferable to use the public transport.

• Deforestation:

The third major reason behind the rapid growth of the environmental pollution is the cutting down of trees on the large scale. It is the result of the negative human activities due to deforestation and thus environmental pollution is growing day by day. Trees are said to be the environmental buffers and cutting down of trees is obviously increasing the pollution.

There are so many preventions of the environmental pollution but some of them are listed below.

• Afforestation:

Like I have said that one of the major reason behind the environmental pollution is the Deforestation so the opposite of the deforestation can help us to reduce the environmental pollution. The growing of trees which is actually called as plantation is a very healthy activity for the prevention of the environment.

• The 3R Strategy:

Another effective way to reduce the environmental pollution is the adoption of the 3R strategy which means the Reduce, Reuse and Recycling of the renewable environmental factors especially the plastic products. With the use of these three processes we can easily reduce the consumption of the energy resources and it will surely help us to reduce the environmental pollution as well.

• Preferring Public Transport:

As I have already said that the increasing rate of the adoption of the private transport is anothet major reason behind the increase of the environmental pollution because the toxic smoke which arises from such vehicles is very harmful for environment. So, by preferring the public transport over the private transport is an effective way to control the environmental pollution.

Environmental pollution is a great threat to the whole of the life on the earth planet. There is no species which is not effected by the growing rate of the environmental pollution. Humans and Animals are equally distributed by the environmental pollution. The greatest threat of the environmental pollution is to the health of the living organisms.

The industrial effluents which are directly released in the water bodies are becoming a great threat for the aquatic life. The acid rain which is actually an effect of the severe environmental pollution is also disturbing the whole life on planet due to its harmful effects on every type of life including animals, birds, humans, terrestrial and aquatic animals as well. A number of diseases are known just because of the environmental pollution.

The environmental pollution can only be reduced by the individual efforts. If we will say that a single person is able to reduce the environmental pollution than it is not okay. Each of us must have to contribute towards the reduction of the environmental pollution. I, being a responsible citizen of the planet earth, always try my best to contribute towards the removal of the environmental pollution. For that, some of the effective activities are below.

• I have been involved in the activity of the plantation of trees. Growing of trees is a great way to reduce the environmental pollution.

• I always prefer the cloth bags over the plastic bags while shopping.

• I always use the recycle or dust bins to through the plastic bags and other garbage. I also guide people in this regard.

• I prefer the public transport and more especially the mass transport system of the city rather than the private transport.

My message for the public regarding the reduction of the environmental pollution is below,

"Protect the Environment to enjoy the Healthy Life."

As I have already said that the greatest threat of the environmental pollution is to the all types of life present on the planet earth. So, for the sake of enjoying the healthy life, we should have to keep the environment pollution free. Clean and green environment is the source of healthy and happy life.
