Various things about my journey on Steemit throughout 2023

Steemit is a great platform and an amazing ecosystem full of interesting things and experiences and am glad to be here to share some of them with us. Before I proceed I want to also invite @jovita30, @kizboy and @ceendy to participate in this contest.

My steemit journey in2023 has been short to say but full of amazing experiences so far. I said short because I’ve not been active for a long while because I didn’t have a good phone for long but as soon as I got a good smart phone, I didn’t hesitate to start steeming again.

In this short while I have had interesting experiences. Firstly I was scared of writing again because I felt I may not get support due to my missing in action for a while but I was glad that I was well welcomed back and got supports from the communities that I participated in creating quality contents.

It was like they have been waiting for me and it was so heart warming. I had to double my efforts to create quality contents. I actually noticed that alot of things has change from the time I took a break till when I came back. Thanks to @ruthjoe for brushing me up through the various changes that has taken place and I readily
embraced and applied them and I started getting supports especially booming support.*

One of those weeks I was actually discouraged because the supports wasn’t really coming and sometimes I make up to 10 to 15 posts a week. In my discouragement, I had to encourage myself and still kept pushing because I know that consistency is required to make the most out of our ecosystem. I’ve not started getting 01 and 02 supports yet but am not discouraged. I will keep pushing.

One of my special moments was when my post was chosen as quality post and was voted by sc01. That’s about the only vote I’ve gotten from 01 but like I said, am not giving up.

The contests are quite interesting but very challenging too and they have really helped to build my IQ and help me learn a whole lot on new topics we have to write about and am loving them. I’ve won some contests and I’ve lost in some but it’s all fun to be a part of.

I love The SEC engagement challenges. The topics are so beautiful and sometimes I wonder how that come up with so interesting topics. I love the contests too. The fact that you write not just for writing sake but because you want to strive to be the best. They bring out a whole lot of tenacity from my inside.

In steemit good and quality and interesting posts are paramount. We can make our posts interesting for readers by having a good introduction and using the contest guidelines to develop our content and ensure we don’t write out of point. We should also apply the necessary markdowns to improve the outlook of our posts and make them catchy. The use of appropriate sourced pictures and good thumbnail picture for our post should be put into consideration too. We should basically apply the necessary rules required to make a good post and we will be good to go.

I’ve had beautiful experiences with my interactions with fellow steemians. The experience of my interaction with fellow steemians had really been one of a kind. It like having a whole new world of friendship from people who were once strangers. My excitement really knows no bounds when I meet fellow steemians physically. It’s like someone materializing from the online world into the physical.

The first time we had a get together for steemians in our country, it was magical. I see my online friends suddenly become touchable and talking with them, laughing and gisting and I love it all the way. I’ve built a whole new world of friendships through steemit and I love it. The friendship and friends have been very supportive through my steemit journey.

I was introduced to steemit by a friend in our church @ceendy20. I saw her write about steemit on her WhatsApp status and I was captivated and she also mentored me well. I gave her no rest. Hahaha. I was literally going to her house everyday to ask questions and learn and she helped me all through.

Steemit is one of my many blessings in life and I would proudly recommend it to any one who cares to listen. I have brought so many people in and am still bringing. The latest is @juliusinimotimi who joined two weeks ago.
