Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care. |
---|
Hello #steemit team,
This is @alfazmalek from #India,
Friends, hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, nursing is the only profession in the world where nurses know and understand life and death the most. It is the nurse who is near the woman giving birth at the time of delivery of the child and motivates her and diverts her pain. At the same time, it is the nurse who first sees the child who comes into this world through the woman's vagina. I come. It would not be wrong to say that when a person is looking at death, it is a nurse who works hardest to save that person from death. That is why the nursing profession knows life and death best in the world and understands the value of life and death.
International Nurses Day is celebrated on 12th May in the memory of the torchbearer Lady Florence Nightingale who brought modern nursing to this world. The nursing profession came into prominence during the First World War when Florence Nightingale provided health care services to the soldiers fighting in the war. After that nursing service had become a profession and today nursing profession is ruling the hearts of all of us.
Nursing profession is an art of science because it uses only knowledge and skill. There are many subjects in nursing like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, psychology and fundamentals of nursing and this is the time to gain knowledge. After joining the nursing profession, a nurse develops a different spirit of humanity. She becomes very responsible for her patient and she does everything in her power to save the life of that patient. To tell the truth, a nurse is not just a sister but she serves her patient by becoming an elder sister or mother. It does not matter how old or young the patient is. If God has given the credit of protecting the child after the mother to anyone, then it is only with the people having nursing profession.
Sure, why not. Friends, the era of Covid-19 was such that no one would come near a Covid positive patient even after demanding money. We worked very hard when Covid-19 was going on. There were about 3-4 masks on our faces and we were completely covered in personal protective equipment. There was heat in the body and we felt suffocated because of the mask, but still we used to do duty for 12-12 hours without taking off the mask. Even today, we are ready to contribute again in a situation like Covid-19.
I have never been sick like this before. I have never had the privilege of going to a hospital and receiving care from a nurse, but I have served many people and saved many lives, so I can say with full confidence that if I get sick or need to go to a health care facility, If I go there, the nursing staff will serve me completely and I know very well the polite attitude of the nursing staff which is like the love of an elder sister.
