The title of this contest says; How to find your positive motivation on steemit. Seeing people create contents on a daily basis asides their work, responsibilities and other endeavours of their lives is enough motivation for me in person. Being a content creator isn't an easy job or skill as discouragement may come once In a while. This post will delve on how, where and when I got my motivation on steemit.
Please explain the reasons and motivations behind your decision to join the steemit platform |
---|
My motivations and reasons are quite clear and are based on human and environmental factors. When I was introduced to this platform 2 years back, I had this lackadaisical attitude to join because one, I disliked writing and two, I had this mindset that it would be a waste of my time as other online business have shown me what my eyes vowed never to experience.
Getting to know the platform as a social media that is blockchain based transpired me to give it a try. From what I read about steemit, I saw it as a platform where you can earn financially and learn in terms of academics for a lifetime as it's a digital skill. This alone wasn't enough motivation.
Seeing my juniors pay their fees with steemit money inspired me as well although I thought it was illegitimate at first as the money they were cashing out was just too much that year. I got my motivation from their financial benefits. That alone didn't inspire me. Learning the platform has been in existence for 7 years now and that it would never crash was my solid reason for joining as well.
Tell us about a special moment where you felt inspired and motivated in the steemit environment |

The posts I read on experiences of other users and what motivated them to continue and not give up easily made me continue writing consistently on this platform for two years and at such, reach my first dolphin level. Meetups are special moments that has added value to my stay here on steemit. The first meetup I attended organised by steemkids community encouraged me greatly to continue despite the depreciation in steem lately which affected how our steem power was built.
This meetup built consistency in me and made my look beyond just getting votes on my posts anytime I create Contents. Not only this meetup, meetup organised in steem4nigeria in Uyo Nigeria also helped me learn from the experiences of those who started their journey on this platform before me. Reputable members like @ngoenyi, @goodybest and @simonnwigwe helped me as well as other newbies who were present.
Building a network of users who I signed in too through promotion made me a consistent user and I give them accolades.
Tell us about the obstacles you have faced in your journey in steemit and share how you managed to overcome them with an optimistic attitude |
---|
If I want to mention the obstacles I've faced on this platform, this post would be lengthy. One of the obstacles I faced on this platform was lack of votes as a newbie. I could create 10 quality contents of which all will pay out $0.00. This made me quit the platform 4 good times. What helped me was the encouragement and guides I received from my mentor.
I barely knew how the platform works and how to create quality contents and engagements in order to receive support. Her guides and consistent reminders made me become the person I am today with little or no obstacles. Another obstacle is time factor. I found it difficult to create Contents on a weekly basis back then but setting priorities and targets is really helping me create at least one content daily.
Is there a particular user or type of content on steemit that always inspires me? |
---|
Yes, there's this particular user called @ngoenyi which everyone knows her for diligence and commitment towards work. She took me in when I quit the platform and became a mentor to me. She has never for once been tired of the many questions I ask her about the platform. She's one of the major reasons I've attained the height I am today and I give her more accolades for helping me on my consistent journey as a content creator.
How has your experience in steemit helped you develop your potential? Also share your hopes and aspirations regarding steemit's role in your future journey |
---|
The experiences I've had on steemit has made me come to an understanding that giving up isn't and can never be an option. I learnt consistency from Steemit and it has helped me to be consistent in whatever I'm doing in life no matter how big or small or tiring it may seem. Everything thing in life done by people Is marked by determination and focus of which I've also learnt from steemit which has helped improved my potential of emulating these qualities in my daily lives.
Gone are those days I used to hate writing term papers and reviews including essays. Now, I'm writing not only for myself but for Others as well. I've become efficient and exposed and my writing and thinking skills have improved greatly. My hopes and aspirations on becoming financially independent on steemit next year and beyond are strong and solely based on the fact that market cycle will influence the price of Steem as a whole and the conversion would be backed hopefully.
All my future plans would be activated and reached. My plans of writing books on other content creation site would be possible if I focus on building my writing skills on steemit of which learning from the way other people write and think has greatly helped me.
So I'll answer the question of this contest in summary. To find your positive motivation on steemit, you don't need to steem in isolation. Reading other people's posts will help in encouraging and motivating you to remain active and consistent on the platform.
I invite @whizzbro4eva, @usoro01 and @deetalka6

Bossj, if consistency was a person, then it's you. You run your account with consistency as your road map and a taste of vawulence. Vawulence I means never giving up despite the challenges or obstacles. I really appreciate the person who enlightened you about steemit because if you were not enlightened, I wouldn't have been here. Thanks for inviting me.
