One of the blessings of Eid al-Adha is the distribution of sacrificial meat. For areas where there are a lot of sacrifices, of course there is also a lot of meat from the distribution. Generally, the sacrificial animals used are cows and goats.
The sacrificial meat can be prepared with various menus. One of them is typical Aceh roast beef. On this occasion we used beef that was still attached to the bone. Of course the meat is still thick and attached to the bones.
The meat and bones are cut to the desired size. First, prepare the seasoning in the form of spices and pandan leaves and crushed lemongrass stalks. Add in the spices and enough water. Heat the water and spice mixture. Put the meat pieces into the spices. Let the meat simmer until the meat is almost cooked.
The boiled meat is then grilled using a grill. We use a grill placed on the stove. Grilling directly on hot coals is also allowed and is better.
Bake until cooked. If it is cooked, the roast meat can be enjoyed. The taste is of course very good. Moreover, it uses lots of spices as usual in typical Acehnese cuisine. We of course accept orders for this grilled meat. Enjoy.
