Kue Adee Mini Pidie

Acehnese culinary has many kinds and varieties. Generally, traditional culinary that is almost extinct but is currently being revived. One of them is the mini adee cake which is widely produced or made in Pidie Regency, Aceh.

Mini adee cake is basically similar to a typical adee cake. But mini adee cakes are made in mini size as compared to regular adee cakes. This mini adee cake is made from ingredients such as wheat flour, eggs, sugar, coconut milk, butter, baking powder, enough water, vanilla, salt, onion, and pandan leaves.

The eggs must be beaten first in the flour mixture. Use a mixer to make it easier to shake it. Beat continuously until it forms an adee cake dough. Boil water and sugar until boiling, add butter, and cook until melted.

Pour the boiled water into the flour and egg mixture, stirring evenly until thickened. Add coconut milk and stir until smooth. Pour it into a mold in which there is a small hole to form a mini adee.

Before pouring, add butter or cooking oil so that the mold does not stick. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle fried onions on top. When cooked, the mini adee cake is ready to be served. Add pandan leaf garnishes to beautify the cake.
