Nagasari Cake

One of the culinary delights in a delicious form in Aceh is nagasari cake. This cake is widely produced in Bireuen Regency. It is not uncommon for many to make nagasari as a typical souvenir of Bireuen. This is certainly very much for the people of Bireuen.

However, this Nagasari cake is easy to make. It is wrapped in banana leaves, and inside, there are bananas wrapped in flour paste. Making this Nagasari cake is very easy.

Prepare the ingredients: ripe or cooked bananas, white rice flour, coconut milk, banana leaves, and sugar. First, pour the white rice flour into the pan to taste. Then, pour the coconut milk into the white rice flour.

Stir until the flour is well mixed with the coconut milk. Then add sugar to taste. Stir again until smooth. Heat the dough on the stove. Stir with a spoon so that the dough does not crust and burn.

The dough is stirred until it forms a white paste. If you have formed the pasta, cool it first, so it is easy to form the nagasari. Cut the banana leaves into pieces according to the desired size.

When the pasta has cooled, pour the paste into the banana leaves according to the desired size. Place the banana pieces on top of the pasta. Wrap the banana pieces with pasta and make them in such a way that they form long circles.

Then, wrap it in banana leaves and adjust it to the paste shape that wraps the banana pieces. Put in a saucepan. Then steam the nagasari until cooked. After cooking, let the nagasari cool.

Nagasari is ready to be served. It tastes delicious. Nagasari, which does not use preservatives, certainly spoils quickly. But putting it in the refrigerator can increase the expiration time. The taste of this nagasai is, of course, very delicious.
