One of Aceh’s most famous and world-renowned culinary delights is the matang satay. This satay is made from grilled beef, seasoned with a special blend of spices. Like most satays, it has its own unique characteristics that always tantalize the taste buds.
One of the most famous matang satays is Sate Apaleh. Apaleh is the owner of this satay business. The main outlet for Sate Apaleh is located in the city of Geurugok, Bireuen District, Aceh. Almost every coffee shop in this city displays Sate Apaleh at the front.

My family and I often stop by the Apaki coffee shop. Along with my son, Bilal, I ordered Sate Apaleh. Meanwhile, my wife opted for the equally delicious mie kocok. I asked the server to not use too much sweet soy sauce on my order, as I’m not fond of overly sweet foods.

We savored the deliciousness of Sate Apaleh. True to my request, the satay was not too sweet. We were also served peanut sauce to dip the satay before eating, which is one of my favorite condiments for satay. Additionally, we were provided with soto as a broth for the satay.

I also ordered a cucumber grated drink. I did this to reduce cholesterol or the possibility of increased blood pressure from eating the satay. Understandably, at the age of forty, one is quite vulnerable to these “guests.”

I relished the deliciousness of this satay. The taste of the beef was pronounced, perfectly paired with the peanut sauce and soto broth. It was incredibly delicious and beyond words. The shop was also very clean with ample parking space.
I recommend you to enjoy Sate Apaleh at Warkop Apaki if you visit Geurugok. I assure you that you will experience comfort and be pampered with excellent service. Happy trying.
