Opening a discussion on Steem Investing

Three days ago I wrote an article titled Reflections on SISAPOWER (ENERGY FOR 21st CENTURY). I further learned that "around February, this year [he had] won a a Nigerian business reality show in which they promised to give [him] $30k for 12% equity in [his] business."

I am attempting to persuade Sisapower to come over to the Steem community because I am hoping that we could provide him added support. When forty-five percent of Nigeria is without electricity, and solar energy is readily available, I can see a huge opportunity for investors in his project as well as the people in Nigeria.

Unlike crowdfunding I think that crowdinvesting is a better option for people. If you invest, the revenue from one project can be applied to new projects. Crowdfunding only works once. I have always considered that it would be possible to for future manufactures to buy machines that would manufacture "widgets" and generate a "widgetcoin" simultaneously. A portion of that coin would be automatically distributed to all the investors. The manufacturer would redeem the coins on an exchange paying the investors a return on their investment.

Does anyone have an opinion on using Steem as a means of promoting Crowdinvesting? Please reply below.

I never did that. I've been an active contributor on the Steem platform since before the "Achievements1" was introduced. The closest that I have to something similar wasn't even in my first year.

It's not necessary for me to join the community, I am happy to putter away in my own corner. After all, I used to teach Entrepreneurship for the Canadian government in the 90s.

I was more interested in if anyone in your group had any ideas or heard about anyone using Steem as an crowdinvestment platform.
