Time is the most valuable thing in this world and you can't change my mind about it. It's more precious than money than any asset or anything in general. As they say, Time is money. In fact, I have been working towards a goal as well. And what is that goal?
- To be location independent
- To be time-independent
These two things are extremely important to me and InshaAllah, I'll make sure I achieve both of them. Let me explain both of these points to you a bit in detail. To be time-dependent means that I have the freedom of relaxing at my home, without stressing out to be somewhere on time. For instance, I am a doctor right now. Or at least in process of being a one. For that, I have to reach the hospital at the time or my attendance will be cut short, I have to check the designated number of patients for me, etc. For being time-dependent, I'll need to have people working for me, so that I don't have to wake up in the morning every day just to reach my clinic, hospital, or anywhere on time. I'll have people working for me at the back end. I know it's hard to achieve but it's not impossible.
For being location independent, I'll need to globalize my work. For instance, if I have a meeting in another country, I don't want to feel restricted due to time or money. So it's a slow process but I am working on it.
Telling you all about the importance of time and time management as this post basically asks us to mention the time we have spent on steemit last week. Steemit is an integral part of my life now. It's like an escape from the world for me. My routine is hectic, no doubt. But still, I manage to take out time for blogging on this platform. Let's start with my past week's activities on Steemit.
MY ACTIVITY ON STEEMIT LAST WEEK
I'll take into consideration my activity and the hours I spent on Steemit over the last 7 days. But before that, I'll tell you all a bit about my schedule. I wake up at 6 in the morning and get ready for the hospital. At the hospital, I have to complete my quota of patients which sometimes exceeds 30 patients in 4 hours. This might seem easy while reading but trust me, diagnosing this many patients is not an easy task at all. You have to be covered in PPE, masks, gloves, etc for the whole day.
After that, I have to attend my classes. I arrive back at home around 4 pm after which I offer my compulsory prayers. Usually, I try to get some sleep after that, but some days I have some other work to do as well, such as visiting the clinic for some more patients. I come back home at night and then offer prayers again. After that, I have to study for my University. I get free around 12 am, it's only after that I start blogging on steemit. Sometimes, it takes me more than 2-3 hours to write down a post. So I usually sleep around 3 am and then wake up at 6 am again, and the cycle continues.
Now that I have mentioned my schedule to you all, let me show you my activity on Steemit, this week.
My Power Ups
Starting with something that's very important to me on Steemit, ie, powering up my steem. I have been a #club100 member for the past six months and in that time period I have powered up thousands of Steem. Last week, I powered up more than 3,000 Steem.
Reached 30,000 Steem (6x Dolphin)
Well, I'm not stopping anytime soon InshaAllah, and that's clear from my intentions as well as my performance and growth on Steemit. With my consistent power-ups I managed to be the first 4x, 5x and now the first 6x Dolphin from Pakistan
So in my last week, I posted about it on Steemit on which I was congratulated by some people and the Steemit team as well.
OTHER POSTS
If you've been following me on Steemit, you'll have an idea that I post every day. No matter how hectic my schedule is, I always try to take out time to post on Steemit. Currently, we have Steemit Engagement Challenge going on in 7 different communities. I'll admit that things have been more stressful for me this week so I couldn't take part in many of them but still, I managed to post some other posts, so let's take a look at some of them.
I had 6 posts in the past week three of them were about my participation in the Engagement Challenge, while others were regarding different topics. I try to post a lot of reviews on Steemit as well so that Pakistani users or any user, in general, can be benefitted from them. So keeping that in mind, let me show you a review of a supermarket that I posted last week on Steemit.
Apart from that I recently gave my readers a visual idea of what goes on in a diagnostic department. This post was from first-person perspective, as I took all the pictures myself. Tried to capture as many moments as I could. I'd really recommend you all to go through that post.
My comments
The main motive of Steemit, which I have understood is to increase engagement and diversity amongst people. We have users from all across the world on this platform. There's a huge majority of Venezuelans and Indonesians here. Apart from that, there are thousands of users from Africa, Asia, and various other parts of the world.
I love to read the content of people from different countries, different people, and different cultures. It intrigues me. As someone who loves to meet new people every day, I love engaging with users on steemit. In the past week, I had more than 40 comments.
I also had a conversation with Steemcurator01 last week, regarding my power up ratio and Sbds, etc. It was a constructive conversation, due to which I powered up and reached 30,000. I'll post that conversation here as it was last week.
My Voting
I firmly believe in Proof of Brain (POB) and always vote on quality content. It's my daily habit. This is a two-way thing. Firstly, the user who's getting my vote on his post gets uplifted and motivated and secondly, I get a good curation reward in return. So it's a win-win situation for all of us. If we look at my voting in the past week, I have voted on 64 posts in total which has earned me more than 100 SP as Curation rewards.
Time Spent Last Week
This is a difficult question. It took me a long time to think over it. If we talk about time spent on steemit last week, does that also count, randomly opening steemit while on a break from work, and reading some posts? Does that also include checking notifications once in a while? What does it include? Does it include only that time when you log in to post or also that time when you are commenting on other users' posts?
Well, I answered these questions myself and took out an average of my time spent on Steemit. So here it goes. Today is Thursday, so I'll take one week into consideration
DAY | TIME SPENT |
---|---|
Friday | 2 hours |
Saturday | 4 hours |
Sunday | 5 hours |
Monday | 1 hour |
Tuesday | 3 hours |
Wednesday | 1 hour |
Thursday | 4 hours |
Total | 20 hours |
20 hours spent on Steemit shows that it is one of my topmost priorities in life. I am managing my professional work with my work on steemit and as long as I am here blogging, I'll balance them both so that I can carry out my life peacefully.
Time Management is a very important thing. If you're able to grasp time in your fist, you'll be able to do anything that you want. If you juggle between your work and cannot give time to any of them, then my friend you are in trouble. You need to prioritize things in your life. It's a very important thing to do. You can't take everything together. Sometimes to gain something, you've to lose something. It depends upon you, what's more, important to you. You can't have everything together. There'll be a lot of things you'll miss out on but do remember the things that you chose. Those are the things more important to you than anything else and always remember, what's gone is gone. You have to cherish what you have at the moment.
With that, I'd like to end my article. It was an interesting challenge and I liked participating in it. I'll now read entries of different users and see what other people managed to do in the past week. I'd like to invite @maazmoid123 @wajihasheikh and @naqshraja1 for this contest.
Thank you.

Been experiencing it for some time, and this sleep cycle is completely messed up.
You have done a pretty good job from the start and even in the last week. Even with your busy schedule, you made time for STEEMIT, and also, congratulations on being 6X Dolphin. It is quite an achievement. May you become Orca Soon.
Good Luck
