HOW TO COLLECT MORE MONEY FROM YOUR CUSTOMER

A customer is someone who pays for your products or services. It is someone who has bought from you before, even if only once.

Studies revealed that it is 7 times harder to sell to who you have not sold to before. Meaning it is 7 times easier to sell to an existing customer.

It therefore means we must find ways to get the most out of our existing customers. We have to be good at the game of collecting more and more money from an old customer.

Here are 4 ways to make more money from an existing customer.

1. Upsell and Crosssell -
This is selling an item that is complimentary to what your customers are buying

For example, if your Customer buys pink shoe, show her a matching pink bag too. You can ask her, "do you have a pink bag? Get this bag too, it goes well with pink shoe". Another example, if Customer buys puff-puff, offer her drink to go with it.

2. Bulk selling - Customer wants to buy one thing, ask her to buy more and offer a discount. For example, in my computer training school, I charge $15 for Microsoft Packages and $25 for Graphic design. So I will persuade customers to get both training at $35.

3. Save Customers phone numbers (Especially WhatsApp number) - When a new Customer buys from you, exchange contact on Whatsapp. Ask her to save your name as ''Mindset ICT'. Then create a broadcast list of your customers. Then be sending them new products arrivals, price updates, discounts and clearance sales.

4. Whatsapp Status Update - The more you save customers numbers on your phone, then you update your Whatsapp status with pictures and offer of what you sell. It keeps you on top of their mind.

With these strategies, you will always make more money by selling to your customers than trying to get new ones.
