Greetings everyone and welcome to my entry for this week's engagement from this wonderful community, as I share my economic diary game with everyone.
On this note, I would like to share about an incident that seems so annoying at the moment it happened that I didn't even share. It was the 2nd of December, last year when our cooking gas at home got finished and I was sent to go fill our cylinders.
So, after finishing up my morning chores, I had to head to the gas station to buy gas for the house as the one we had was exhausted. But guess what? since December was a festive period, it seems everyone also needed gas too as I was greeted with a very long queue at the gas station.

Arriving at the gas station and seeing the long line of people waiting to fill up their gas cylinders also seemed like a mini festival of gas cylinders but since I had no choice, I joined the line and patiently waited for my turn. While waiting for my turn, I had conversations with fellow gas-seekers as we shared stories, and even cracked jokes about the long queue to pass the time.
After feeling like I'd waited forever, it was finally my turn, so I handed over my empty gas cylinders since I went with two of my own, which were 12.5kg and 17.5kg cylinders to the attendant, and they were filled for N900 per kg with the overall prices and the receipts are provided below.

It was mission accomplished for me, but I ended up spending the whole day as the process took way longer than I expected. By the time I got home, it was already late in the evening.
So, that was how I spent my whole day having a gas station adventure just because it was the festive period.

This queue at the gas station is really serious. Does it mean everyone's gas finished at the same time? Na wa! 900 naira per kg that's cheap compared to what they sell here or maybe it's because it was last year.

It seems like you've missed the most annoying day at the gas station. You've spent a day filling up two tubes of gas. This is definitely beyond your expectations. I think this is an unfavorable condition, we should be able to use productive time for a whole day. But bad service issues have cost you the most precious time.

Aquí en mi país también hay que hacer largas colas para la gasolina gracias a Dios que ya el gas se ha estado regulando y se puede conseguir más fácilmente pero también llegamos a hacer grandes colas de varios días para poder obtener un cilindro lleno de gas.

Spending whole day collecting a gas filled cylinder is unimaginable. We get delivery the cylinder next working day after booking over phone. We are really lucky. We have one pair of cylinder . There is always stock of one cylinder in hand.
