SEC - S15/W1 - How I Make Money From Home

Since we live in a global world, is nothing new that we see many people work from home this days. In fact, with the Covid 19 virus that spread over the world, it brought about a surge for “stay at home” workers as a result of the lockdown in the world. That period, if you are not technically inclined, you will be missing out on juicy opportunities.

With the privileges that comes with working from home, a lot of us have involved ourselves in several technical skills that will always keep the money flowing irrespective of where you are in any part of the world as long as you have an internet connection.

One of the ways I make money from home is by joining “steemit”. Steemit is a blockchain social network that pays people who create content and curators with cryptocurrency called “steem, steem dollars and TRX”. For those of us who have lots of time at our disposal, Steemit has been a major source of income and has played a significant role in developing my mental capacity. Community of writers converge here on Steemit creating wonderful content for all to read and we get rewarded for it.

Another way I earn from home is by using binance app. My early period on Steemit ushered me into cryptocurrency. Back then there is this contest I use to participate that is strictly about new cryptocurrency. It used to be hosted by @originalworks, I don’t know if they still exist till now. That contest broaden my knowledge about cryptocurrency and it was during my search for more knowledge I joined binance.

At first, I found it interesting and I thought I was smart until when I started loosing a whole lot of money on futures, I decided to settle with spots trade on binance. So far, it has been encouraging even though it takes a long time before you see money but one thing is certain hodl always win on the long run.

Upwork

This part of me, I rarely mention. The time I was away from steemit, a friend of mine I introduced to this platform @maxiemoses-eu, introduced me to his own money making platform, upwork. That was my first time hearing the word “freelancing”. He thought me, how to do proofreading, editing, publishing and formatting. With those few skills at the back of my hands, that was how I started pitching for works.

Getting a job as a freelancer was not easy. At some point I stopped applying for jobs but I met a guy who thought me how to do eye catching proposals and will make it easier for me to get clients. Since then it has been on a very smooth path for me on upwork.

Earning from home is cool and it has lots of his advantage but what matters most is the “time management”. You have to be able to plan your time because you will be occupied with lots of stuff especially for the tech mums!! But if you can plan your day very well, it will ease you a lot of stress…
