Greetings, and Peace be Upon you.
This is my entry in the challenge: "My Country's Education Journey"
Pakistan is one of the many countries that still depends on it's old education system that was brought into the sub-continent by the British when they revived literacy in the 19th Century.

History:
Before the British Era the sub-continent was crossed by multiple ancient civils such as the Aryans, the Umayyad and it is said (not confirmed) that even Zul-Qarnayn marched through the sub-continent, as well as the Greeks under Alexander, and the Mughals under Babur, both passed through the Khyber Gates of Peshawar, so early forms of education was brought by them, which is further proven by the architectures, scriptures and other debris in the ruins of Mohenjo Daro.
City of Mounds, Mohenjo Daro.
Describe your country education system including its structure curriculum teaching methods and key stakeholders?
Pakistan's education system is similar to United Kingdom out of every country, uniform culture, disciplined hygiene, and writing traditionally on book, students must attend all classes unlike some countries were students can skip classes. Discipline is one of the highest priorities. un-satisfactory behavior is punished, making Pakistani students some of the most well-mannered and disciplined youngsters in the world.
Are you satisfied with your country education system? Share your reasons why or why not.
Pakistan has a decent education system, as a student I must say I am satisfied because most schools in Pakistan have talented teachers, each with their own method of teaching, for example;
our Chemistry teacher has most of the Chemistry topics, formulas etc memorized and knows which topic is on which page, everyday he comes into the classroom with only a marker, and gets straight to explaining complicated topics in a simple manner.
However there are no major education opportunities for kids that come from a background of poverty or kids from Rural areas.
What reforms would you introduce to improve education in your country? Be innovative and practical in your suggestions.
Multiple reforms can be imposed to improve the current education of Pakistan
- Following a new modern education system.
- More opportunities for less-fortunate children.
- Higher education at lower/ affordable fee.
- Children be more disciplined, not through physical means but through friendly conversation (juniors).
