Good day readers, Ace is back again but this time with a newer and better concept. As an anime fan, I am very confident in my creative thinking 🤔 but I have never really put it to the test. I just found out that there are curation teams that cover art and creative writing so I decided to try #creativewriting but this would be a sad setting sadly so make sure to read and tell me what you thought about it in the comment section.
This is the story of Janet, a first year student in the Abia State University. She often seemed like an average student on first appearance but her childhood was greatly scarred and her childhood life ruined. During her 6 years of secondary school, her mum had two unexplainable miscarriages and her dad who was in desperate search for a male child so he labelled her a witch and went on to marry another wife.
Janet knew all this but she pushed forward to try her best with an average secondary school life. In due time her dad got a new wife and as you might expect, the step mother was a wicked one who only treated her daughters nicely. Her father paid less attention to her although he still paid for her tuition fees and fed her.
Three attempts at getting a son failed so the man went to check in with a doctor to find out where the problem was from. The doctor confirmed that the problem was from him and he felt terrible for mistreating his wife. Janet's dad stopped by a bar to drink away his sorrows and get drunk to a fault, he then decided to drive back home and apologize but in his drowsiness, he had a car accident and died.
The stepmother who on hearing this news was beyond delighted decided to lay claim to all his wealth and kept on maltreating Janet and her mother to the extent of depriving them of their meals and making them sleep outside at night. This went on for days and one day Janet's mom fell terribly sick. The stepmother didn't even care about her condition and kept maltreating them, at this time Janet was in SS3.
As a young mislead and confused child, she began looking for ways to treat her sick mother. She began looking for a job during her 1st term in ss3 but to no avail she found none. She sat at the road side crying and bypassera ignored her until a 2018 Venza Jeep parked next to her. Janet was stopped crying and decided to behold the vehicle when the glass came down and a very beautiful lady named Cynthia wearing skimpy clothes asked her what had happened.
Janet explained the whole story to Cynthia and Cynthia gave her a huge sum of money on the condition that Janet stopped by her place once her mum is taken to the hospital and she agreed without thinking twice. Janet did as she was told and stopped by Cynthia's place which they agreed on when she received the money. There she say a fierce looking rich man in his bathing suit. Cynthia then told her to sleep with him or she would have to pay the money back and although Janet opted to pay the money back, the sex-hungry man started humping her and forcing himself on her.
He raped her repeatedly and she lay there almost lifeless and unconscious. Cynthia who had thought she was dead and decided to drop her off on the road side near a hospital. Cynthia eloped with the rapist. A good Samaritan, John who was on his way to visit his sick wife by the hospital say the man-handled Janet as she lay there on the road side and decided to rush her to the hospital.
The doctors were able to save her just in time and Emeka who felt it was best if she didn't know who saved her decided to keep his identity hidden from her. She woke up in the hospital without knowing who brought her there or how she got there. She then contemplated on her life so far and how she had suffered countlessly not to talk of how she would provide food and shelter to her mum and how she would pay for her upcoming WAEC, JAMB and NECO examinations.
[ well I guess this is the end of this edition of Janet's life story before the university, expect the next edition very soon enough. Keep the suspense going, what do you think Jane would do to take care of her mum, would she get back at her stepmom, would she ever live a normal life anymore? You are welcome to take a guess and leave a comment based on these questions ]
