I got the last letter you wrote to me and I am very glad you did and also for confining in me to help you out in the choice of University. It shows that our friendship is still valued. I hope you find my reply very helpful.
Tello my mannest gee, you know I can never lie to you, I no fit. You know me too well and never for once have I ever deceived or tricked you. So I will need you to take this very important. For your first choice of university also bearing in mind nah Law wey u wan study. Please put the best university which is the University of Nigeria, Nsukka(UNN) and believe me this is first hand knowledge because I school here as well. The most prestigious Law Faculty nah here e dey oh and our graduants are like hot cake in the Legal Market. The University of Nigeria is situate in Enugu State and just like you told me in your previous letter that you want a school not too close to home maka surprise visit and not too far from home because of Sapa🤣. It is a 1hr 30minutes journey from Onitsha it fits your description perfectly and having spent all your life in Onitsha a change of environment is what you need. Enugu is peaceful, calm and fun and the best part of it is that your campus is not in the village side of Nsukka but in the center of the capital Enugu City hence the name University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC).
I must let you know that a high standard is required, To gain entrance into the prestigious Law Faculty UNEC. To gain admission you must credit your courses in WAEC, Maths, English, Literature, Government and CRS especially, you must also reach the Jamb and the Facultys cut off mark set at 200 and 291 respectively.
I believe these exams won't be a problem your brain power no be for here. Golden Boy no be u again?. With good performance the Campus of UNEC are yours to conquer. UNEC is not as big as Nsukka Campus but it's a very conducive environment for learning. Our Law Faculty is the best and the most beautiful in the whole school, we have the best Lecture Hall and Administrative Building where all paperworks will be handled efficiently. Our hostels are there for your accomodation needs and that's where the small size of UNEC comes in handy. The hostels are not far from the lecture halls which allows for easy access and this makes it stress free, it's also easy to get around in UNEC and the transportation network is wonderful. There is stable water and power supply in the hostels. The library is also at your service, the Law library in our Faculty or the main school library all at your disposal.
As a Law student you are expected to wear Black and White to lectures daily which is quite stressful but you will get used to it. Infact we are not alone in this as each faculty have their uniform hence the name Glorified Secondary School😅. Also cultism is not an issue over here, I have not seen any cult group neither have I witnessed any cult clash so safety within school is guaranteed.
Please if you do get the admission the following documents are required; WAEC/NECO Certificate, Birth certificate, Jamb result, Post-UTME result, Local Government Certificate, First School Leaving Certificate, Admission list, Letter of Attestation, Letter of Acceptance. Since it is a Federal University the School fees is not expensive, Fifty Thousand Naira. There are other fees, like the Acceptance Fee Ten Thousand and the LAWSA Dues Two Thousand Naira and the developmental fee of Ten Thousand which is a sum total of Seventy Two Thousand. Law is very tough, this is my 200th level so believe me when I say this, but I know you are tougher.
