Hello and a good day to all my fellow Campusconnecters!

The "Campus Connect's Weekly contest –Steem Campus hype edition" created by our most prudent admins is a contest or rather, an intuitionary aimed at gathering ideas and innovations which would be most effective if (and when) implemented at our various University campuses in the nearest future, and I, having gained a little experience on student-life [being a student and all], would be delighted to share what I think would be most effective if this effect is to be carried out, under my wonderful Campusconnect entry. Now, if you don't mind, let's hop unto it.

What would you do to promote Steemit on Your Campus.

  • ENLIGHTENMENT CAMPAIGN
Although Cryptocurrency is a wide-known concept today, its still rather shocking how much apathy people show towards the medium despite its current rise in value and acceptance amongst institutions. But why is this?...One word,....IGNORANCE. Ignorance of basic Crypto concepts which is a contributing factor to the preying on by the fabled fear of Crypto investment, with Steem being no exception. And how do we overcome this effect? The keyword is 'ENLIGHTMENT', an Enlightening Campaign and not just any, but one that'll manage to grab the attention of any Student.
The life of your average Student could be seen as Boisterous, and as such should be the campaign also. A Rally having fliers, bills and music, pre-leading an organised steemit seminar is one of the go to's I would suggest, as students will be drawn to the activities and Steem's openess.
Of course this option isn't one that can be carried out single-handedly, but would require planning and cooperation of various Steemians on campuses.

  • ONE-ON-ONE TALKS
The bonds of friendship could be used as an effective means for introducing peers to the Steemit Blockchain, and as students are in a constant search for stable means of revenue while still in school, presenting the opportunity of Steem mining during conversations could prove rather decisive. Just as I managed to introduce @flaaam to the platform, I plan on spreading the steem gospel to even more of my colleagues and course mates and will thus, hopefully contribute to the growth of our Steem Blockchain one block at a time.

With all being said, I wouldn't want for these ideas to remain in the realm of wishes but would rather work in cooperation with my fellow Steemians at bringing them to reality, for the growth and betterment of our Steem community.

Thank you!
