Diabetes might just be the reason you cannot "perform" sexually.

Diabetes generally denotes a blood glucose level higher than normal and the effects of this steals into your sexual performance especially Type 2 diabetes.

Excessive blood glucose can cause nerve damages making it difficult to feel sexual stimulation majorly leading to erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.

It can also affect the sphincter in the male reproductive tract leading to what is termed as "retrograde ejaculation"...a process in which a man ejaculates into the urinary bladder.

As pertaining women, excess blood glucose level can lead to vaginal dryness, vaginal infection, vaginal inflammation and greater occurrence of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).

Incontinence (involuntary passage of urine) is also a major problem for women who have diabetes as they may experience it during the sexual process and it might be a turnoff.

Honest communication with your partner and appropriate adherence to medical advice are the ways to overcome this setbacks.
