The diary game|| Sunday 20th February, 2022- I introduced my cousin @zita94027 to steemit and got my NYSC call up letter to serve in my country (Club5050)

Introduction

Happy Sunday to everyone and I hope for Christians you all went to your respective churches to worship the living God. Today went well for me and I can't wait to tell you all about it.

Activities of the day

I woke up by 7:30am to prepare for Mass. I basically had to just shower and dress up in my church wear because my siblings do the cleaning and all worth not. I finished up on time and left the house 10 minutes past 8 o'clock in the morning.

I got to church on time and settled down for the Mass. The Holy Mass started and ended under an hour and half in which we observed the usual protocol.

After the Mass I stayed back for a brief meeting with my colleagues in church. While doing so I too a snapshot for my diary entry later in the day. Since it was a brief meeting, we were done under 15 minutes.

While in church

When I got home, I changed to my house clothes then joined my mum in the kitchen to prepare lunch of jellof rice and salad.

I met her half way down so I assisted in completing the rest of the cooking by cutting the salad ingredients of cabbage, carrots, cucumber and green peppers.

I didn't want to eat jellof rice so I helped myself with akpu and bitterleaf soup. They were already available, I just had to warm them cause they were in the fridge all these while.

Meanwhile, all through the day I have been waiting for my call up letter that was set to arrive earlier in the morning. I waited all morning and as I was waiting I was busy recruiting a new member into the Blockchain.

I assisted her in making her first introductory post which was quite difficult because she had a lot to learn and understand. My happiness was that the caught on quite fast and we we able to post later in the evening.

Achievement 1

As I was helping her, I decided to log into my NYSC dashboard and realized that my call up letter was out. I got posted to the capital of Nigeria, Abuja. I was so happy because I have been praying for it for a long time.

It's not easy to be deployed to a state of your choice. It only takes the Grace of God and a miracle for it to happen and that happens to be my case.

I was so excited and I called my friends too who confirmed that they were deployed to the states they had in mind though not the capital. I guess we were all lucky to have been posted to a state of our choice though if it was otherwise we would have still gone like that.

It's not like there's anything wrong with these states, they're just battling insecurity and that's a major concern to a lot of people. Safe travels to all Prospective Corp Members who are traveling to their state of deployment.

I was so full from the akpu I ate earlier that I didn't need to eat again. I just ate some snacks which was more than enough.

I broke the good news to family and friends on my WhatsApp group and I decided to break it to you guys on steemit. Please wish me well as I go to camp and come back.

I slept off around 9pm because I was so exhausted from the day's work. I new I had a long day ahead of me so I decided to sleep early.
