Introduction

Campus connect is an international community of students, we want to connect and unite steemians active on the steemit blockchain and recruit active and serious students into the world via the steemit platform- This is our mission and vision and we work hard toward this end.

We have set up an active curation trail and currently maintain a comprehensive list of steemains active on campus connect in Nigeria. We use this opportunity to invite students from all over the world, you are welcome to subscribe, post, and engage with students from all over the world- We want to connect with you.

We expect campus connect to be home to thousands of students around the world from different universities, currently, there are a few universities with a good number of students, in order to increase the promotional, and retention activity of students in these universities and to make sure that every student gets supported by the community. We are Introducing the Campus Captain Program

Basically, a Campus captain is an active steemain who is willing to work for the growth of steemit in his or her university of study. A campus captain is expected to work just like a country rep or a city coordinator. They are expected to take the lead in recruiting, educating, and organizing students in their college of study.

Duties of a Campus captain

• A campus captain will help to recruit and provide guidance to new steemains in their university.

• A campus captain will work to retain and keep steemains in their Campus active and updated.

• Periodic campus meetup/contests to keep steemains active and engaged.

• Bi-weekly report on their progress and arising issue, these reports will be made in campus connect community.

The following steemains have been appointed as Campus captains for their universities.

• @awesononso- University of Nigeria(UNN and UNEC)

• @pricelesspresh- Delta State polytechnic ogwashi-uku

• @doppley- University of Lagos

• @whitestallion- Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture and every university without a Captain.

The following campus captains are expected to accept or decline their appointment via the comment section below.

Campus captains will play a vital role in the development of campus connect and our future projects.

We believe this campus captain program will help to arrange students and keep everyone right on track.

Power-up Update.

Campus Connect is dedicated to investing in steem via steempower, that is why we power up all our payouts including purchased steem, We were able to power up 330 steem this week. At this rate, we will average 1,320 steempower per month. We are looking to increase this number by any means necessary.
