Hello friends and welcome to campus connect community bi-weekly update for the month of October, we are thrilled to make this update, We will be reporting a summary of some of our improvements and activities in the last 2 weeks...

Let's go through some of the progress for week 1/2.

The number of subscribers has grown in campus connect and we currently have more than 1,100 subscribers with a range of 100 active publishers. The following figures are proof of our growth and we will be happy and thrilled to make better improvements still in the second half of the month.

Campus Connect Weekly contest

Our weekly contests are one of the most effective ways we keep users active and publishing on the steemit blockchain. Over the past 2 weeks, we have held 2 contests, each with a different focus and aim. Below are the basis of both contests and their aim.

This contest is designed to improve the mindset of steemians in our community concerning the future of steemit. This contest will help them to include the success of steemit and campus connect in their plans as the sign-up and start blogging on steemit.

Campus connect has invested hugely in campus promotion and we are still devoted to a steem saturated campus all over the world. This contest is designed to encourage all community members on the importance of steemit and campus connect promotions in different universities across the world.

Power-ups are a huge way of growing the economy of both campus connect community and steemit community at large. In order to encourage our community members to power up, we have hosted a special steem power up challenge where community members are required to power steem every day and stand a chance to win a cool price by the end of the month.

This has been an effective way to encourage community members to join #club5050, #club70, and #club100. We have already seen a lot of our community members join this initiative and are powering up every day and every week.

Power-Up and Delegation Updates

This is perhaps the most important area of focus for all of us in campus connect community. We are building a sustainable community of students worldwide, we believe in the steem project and we intend to make this our platform.

As a result, we have been to increase our steem power holding through frequent power-ups and delegation from active supporters of campus connect/.

We have been able to add to our total stake we currently have a cumulative SP of 13,405.25 SP. We have a total of 20k before the end of the month.

We were able to achieve this through regular and frequent power-ups like the one below and steem delegation from active supporters.

Campus Promotion

We have also been busy with campus connect promotion at Micheal okpara University of Agriculture. We had recemrly purchased extra banners and placed them in strategic locations in order to promote campus connect to everyone in the university.

Conclusion
We are proud of our progress and also aware of the need to do better because change is constant. We will be making better and bigger improvements in the coming weeks to come.
