Hello everyone, trust you'll are doing great?

It is my pleasure today to write on my little way of promoting steemit through my day to day check up on my followers.

My write-up will be in question and answer form to enable me share my promotion experience.

WHO IS A STEEMIT FOLLOWER?

To my own understanding a steemit follower is a person or persons who came across your content/post here on steemit platform, read your content and follow you to read more of your content, vote and comment on your content. On my own part my followers are mostly my recuritee that I know and random persons who I don't know.

MY OBSERVATION ON MY FOLLOWERS
My followers are mostly person or persons with lower reputation of (50 below). I observed that most of them just signed up without any further direction from whomever helped them in signing up, no proper direction on the importance of achievements atleast achievement 1, the communities to make their post and the various tags to use. Further more, these people make post with no single vote and after sometime the person gets tired, even frustrated and finally give up(quit).

HOW DO I HELP MY FOLLOWERS?
I place utmost value on my followers because them following me gives me the impression that they find my content valuable and that gives me a sense of belonging so in turn I show appreciation by my day to day check up on them to comment and upvote their post in order to increase my C.S.I. In my own little way of helping, I did the following below;

On my day to day check up on one of my followers, I found out this person with username nkwanbryan with reputation of (44) he posted his achievement 2 on a tag and not in newcomers community, which after I commented, he then deleted and did the necessary.

Also, as I always do everyday, I checked up on one of my followers pk-k47 rep(30), he was constantly posting without votes, I observed that he didn't do even his achievement 1, so I had to leave a comment and also gave him a link of someone's own to follow the steps and do his

WHAT DO I HAVE TO GAIN FROM THIS?
I always believe in this saying that we rise by lifting others😊. I don't have anything to gain other than helping steemit platform grow by the little help I render, it's not that I have grown but having been on this platform close to a year I think I know alittle on how it works.

Also, to you that is going to read this content try and be checking up on your followers and see how they are doing then vote, comment and resteem their posts this will lift their spirit and make them not to give up.

Note: they followed you because they found your content valuable, reciprocate the love by checking up on them.

What is power up
Powering up is the process of converting liquid Steem into Steem power. It can also be ascribed to HODLing of Steem. Users writes quality content and get rewarded, the rewards which is liquid Steem is then converted to steem power. Powering up helps individual to have more influence on steemit platform, it also helps in earning more curation rewards when one upvotes others articles/content.

My power up process

👉Before the power up I was HODling 846. 830 Steem power and 27.140 Steem

👉 I converted my liquid Steem to steem power by clicking on power up, clicked on bal then the power up button

👉I input my active key to enable me initialize the command

👉After which I powered up

SUMMARY
Growing steemit is our individual responsibilities, it comes by helping one another, telling people about steemit platform and signing them up is good but helping them grow is great. Only signing them up and leaving them without direction will make them get tired and quit in turn declining the number of steemit users. One of the ways in making sure that you grow together is checking up on your followers mostly newbies to give them direction if need be, upvoting them, commentimg and resteeming their post.

In addition, powering up one's earnings increases stake on steemit platform and gives one more influence.
