Hello friends. I'm glad to participate in this week Campus Connect contest titled "Dream university Beyond your current university".

University is where you can look at yourself and think about how you can benefit and grow personally from the experience. While growing up I have experience the power of uniform especially military uniform and to that effect, have always wanted to attend military school where I can build my self confidence, positivity and where I can be disciplined because I never follow rules while growing up , above all where I can be inspired toward maximum achievement.

My Dream University was to enroll into the Nigeria Defense Academy Defense Academy (NDA) which was founded in February 1964 as a reform of the British-run Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC), which was renamed the Nigerian Military Training College (NMTC) after independence. The Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force officer corps are trained at this military college but most times destiny always have his own way which must truly come to past or reality.

Why I love it

I wanted to attend Defense Academy because I feel drawn to service, I wanted to serve my Country, I desire to do something meaningful. I wanted my family to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment through my service to humanity . I wanted to attract and earn peoples respect and appreciation . I needed a guiding principle and discipline in order to improve my work and overall character.I wanted to join military because I wanted to commend respect, joining military I didn't mean recruit . I was talking about Academy where I come out with ranks and earn lots of Money.

My journey in pursuit of my Dream University started in 2013 when I finished Secondary School , I applied series of time but didn't make it and I refuse to apply for other Universities until a friend of mine advice me that is still possible to go for short service after attending normal universities. I saw reasons with him because I already wasted 3years waiting for NDA to accept me but that it never come to past until 2016 when I applied for prestigious University of Nigeria and I got Admitted to study physiotherapy .

Do I think I can ever pursue a program there?

I don't think I can still pursue a program there because have grown past the service age which 22years but if I can still turn back the hand of time I will still choose NDA over other Universities a million time but that doesn't give room for regret because physiotherapy still have a big role to play in the military. They help in the prevention of injuries and maintaining general body fitness so increase work performance, readiness to service.

CONCLUSION

I still Thank God even due I didn't have the opportunity to attend my dream University his plan and purpose supersede every other thing and I praise his name for that . I pray that God continues to sustain us, bless the work of our hands and keep us to enjoy them.
