My Campus Plan B

While studying and living the campus life, make sure you have a plan B. You have other plans not because you are not smart enough but because you are planning for the rainy days and you have taken the bold step not to put all your eggs in one basket.

The plan B should be to learn a skill or have nurture a business idea which should bear plenty fruits when you would be free to invest time and resources in it.

The idea of hoping and believing there is a job out there to be grabbed after school shouldn’t cross your mind. Don’t even take anybody making promises to you right now serious because that would be counting your eggs even before they are being hatched.

Avoid distractions while making your decisions and taking the bold steps. Distractions can come in so many ways and you have to stay on top of your game by figuring them out on time and staying as far away as possible.

There are people in your life whose dreams and aspirations don’t align with yours, that doesn’t make them bad people or the least but you have to continue with your life journey without them because they will only distract you along the path and delay you from reaching your destination on time.

Perhaps if they fellow their own path too, you will still meet them at the top.

Learn not to bottle a lot inside you. This can only intoxicate you and make you depressed and bitter. When you cannot handle it anymore, seek professional opinion and help, don’t be shy to speak out, don’t die in silence because a shut mouth is a shut destiny.

And then don’t stay far away from God. Always be close to Him and you won’t be lonely even far away from home.
