We often think that the only education we need to inculcate and accept is Western education, but in the true sense of the word, there are many types of education too numerous to mention that we need to practice and inculcate in our daily lives.

The meaning of education according to the Oxford translation means, the process of giving or receiving systematic instructions, especially in school. On the other hand, it also means the body of knowledge acquired during education. Another meaning said it is information or training in a certain subject, these definitions speak well of what education is, but in my own humble definition, it is an opportunity to get a certain learning or belief into everyday life.
We have different fields of education all over the world, but we will focus on some of the major ones that we have a bit of an affinity with, such as Western education, traditional education, religious education, nature education, home education. , all these mentioned are part of education, but we often put them on the sidelines without knowing what makes us, not only Western education.
Some of the fields of education
Western education
This is the practice or learning that is taught and inculcated in a school or university, exactly as the name suggests, western education, it is like absorbing the culture of the westerners (Americans, British, etc.). We accept everything that comes from the West, whether it's favorable or not, they're doing it for now, it's fine with us, we don't mind.

Traditional education
This is a kind of education that deals with each person's cultural beliefs, we may or may not put western education into it. We take care of our tradition, we teach it to those who come (children and youth) so that they can continue, especially so that the cultural faith does not die. It can be in the form of learning about the gods of the land, dance, songs, movements, dressing and so it is very important for the entire nation because no one wants or hopes that the culture and tradition of his ancestors will die out.
Religious education
This is a kind of education that deals with religion, faith and belief, both the younger and older generations are taught to believe in a Supreme Being (God) or man-made gods, so they pray to them for favor, protection and other things that keep away from spirituality.
Nature education
This is a type of education that deals with all nature such as plants, oceans, sky and other things that we see as nature. This is an important education to inculcate as it has great value that it brings, imagine knowing the names of all plants, animals, waters etc. and ways to apply them for humanity benefits. Therefore, it is interesting and good to teach everyone, even the younger generation.
Home education
This is a basic part of education and it means knowing about house training, how to respect people, how to say hello, do some chores and respect your elders or parents. Most often we forget about this type of education, we only focus on western education, we take our children or wards to school, once we do that, that's all they need. This needs to be taught everywhere in the world, to raise a generation that has manners, not just some uncouth generation.
I really don't want to say that western education is bad, in fact it is very important because it is mostly what we need to be successful in our society today, but teaching other fields of education to the next generation also goes a long way and can really help build a better future community.
Thank you!
