The Diary Game Thursday, 17th February, 2022

5:45am
Woke up in my single room apartment to my annoyingly loud alarm that kept ringing incessantly since 5:15 am and had a glass of water (a habit I was forced to pick up cos my doctor friend never gets tired of drumming up the benefits in my ears at every available chance). I then got about doing my usual daily exercise of a 100 push-ups just cos I still dream of being named World’s Sexiest Attorney someday 😂.

My bolt ride is here and I am en route to work. Still baffles me how I can leave my house comfortably in Abuja by this time and still be the first person to resume at work most times. This can never happen in the city of Lagos and just because of this I know I made the best decision not going back to Lagos and staying back here in Abuja after law school.

There’s no work on my table which requires urgent attention so decided to read a few chapters of the popular Rich Dad, Poor Dad book and I must say that’s one great book. There’s literally so much I don’t know about many many many things but the goal is to work towards changing that this year and I hope i keep at it.

Had my first meal of the day. My stomach was singing tunes before my order arrived. Continued reading my Rich Dad Poor Dad and was just more and more excited as I read on. I really want to be grow my finances this year and stop spending the little I have like I am Dangote’s son.
The Usual

Today is a colleague’s birthday at the office so came to the supermarket with a friend to get him his favorite drink (of course, we won’t be drinking at work, I guess 😉).

Yaay the birthday boy came through and got everyone at work food. I just kept hailing him. I love food like that 😂.

3:20 pm
Finally had to get some work done. Reluctantly. And also went through the case file for a case coming up tomorrow in court. Didn’t finish though, it was way too much to read in a go.

5:00pm
Accompanied a colleague to the fruits and vegetables market just because I was already tired of sitting still in the office. Got some for myself cos I just can’t resist grapes whenever and wherever I see them 🥺.

Yaay! Closed early today and on my way home surprisingly cos we almost always close late at work. It’s the norm and it’s annoying.

8:30pm
Home Sweet Home. Rewatched some parts of a sweet old movie and the only reason is because I’m still mesmerized by Cher’s beauty. Damn she fine!

Happily devouring my second meal of the day and watching funny IG videos. I’ll definitely remember the birthday day boy in my prayers 😂. The food is just utter perfection!

On my bed now and ready to sleep after having that lovely meal.
