I want to use this opportunity to talk on idleness which has been destroying some people's lives. Idleness is a state of being idle, inactive, indolent, worthless, and groundless. This word idleness has destroyed the lives of both young and old in the world today. And this idleness can lead to laziness the killer of time and it's very deadly when it becomes a habitual thing. Briefly am going to outline the effect of idleness in the life of an individual who doesn't like to work e.t.c

Idleness can leads to laziness
Work helps people to discover and develop their skills and talents but on the other hand laziness does not promote these things , therefore, we are properly advised to reject all form of idleness because idleness, like rust, can attach itself to the most precious metal you have. Shun laziness.

Idleness can also be boring
It breeds boredom in a very high rate. An idle person may find and see life as a very boring and dull moment since he does not have anything to do in order to yield product.

Idleness reduces or retards progress
Those who are idle find it extremely difficult to be successful in everything they find themselves to do. Some effective and productive ways to achieve your goals in life is to be hardworking and have effective proper /adequate planning.

Idleness can eaqully leads to continuous dependence on others
Idle persons continue to depend and rely on others for their basic needs or supply: Even the bible says in Proverbs 10: 4 says "A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich". There is an adage that says an idle youth makes a needy old age.

Idleness may lead to cheating, stealing, and other illegal practices or behaviour
There is a common saying that idleness is the beginning of all vices. An idle person is likely to involve himself in some certain anti social vices like cheating, stealing, bribery and corruption that could lead him into problems. It Is said that the devil finds work for the idle hands".

Frustration and feeling of inferiority complex or negative thoughts
It can also leads to loss of spirituality and self-esteem, it also tends to the feeling of frustration and being inferior to others.

It Leads to the act of envying others
Persons or people who are idle will most likely envy those who are hardworking, discipline and successful in life. But Envy can bring about hatred and conflicts both in the family, community or among the citizens of a nation.

Idleness is a product of poverty and misery
A Person who is idle will not be able to meet some certain important financial obligations. The inability to generate income is extreme poverty and misery in such an individual's life.

Idleness can result to mental stress
The refusal to work and the consequence of laziness will cause mental stress. In other words, idle persons become worried and anxious and thus can lead them to a state of confusion.
