The name of my University is Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, popularly known as MOUAU My school is situated in the Eastern region of Nigeria, Abia state to be precise.

MOUAU is a federal University named after a great Nigerian nationalist by the name Michael Okpara as an honor for his great contributions to the development of Nigeria.

HISTORY OF MOUAU

MOUAU is one of the agricultural Universities established by the federal government. It came into existence in the month of November, 1992 but took of on the 3rd of May, 1993 when the university offered admission to it's 1st set of students.

I chose to attend MOUAU base on my origin, I am an indigen of Abia state.
I also chose it because I want to use the opportunity to widen out and learn how to speak and write the igbo language perfectly because I was raised in a Yoruba land and I didn't have the opportunity to perfect my Igbo speaking.

I believe my school is the best because it trains it student on different aspect of life.
If I told you that my school offers German and french as a course, you wouldn't believe me, funny right? But that is the truth, my school help prepare us in case we find ourselves in a foreign land like Germany and France, so that we will be able to interact there and earn a living.
