Today I'll be discussing on the importance of learning a skill and why you should learn a skill. If you still think that learning a skill is a waste of time or you're that person who always procrastinate about learning something, then this article is for you.

Ladies and gentlemen I can not overemphasize the importance of learning a skill. This is a decision that you'll be happy you took for the rest of your life. Learning a skill might just be your ticket to financial freedom. Most freelancers that I know are making triple what they make with thier 9 to 5 jobs. But what scares people is the hard work that comes with learning a skill. In order for you to be good at what you do, you need to give it your all.

You become self employed: Learning a skill gives you that freedom of becoming self employed. You can take as many jobs as you want as far as you can deliver.

Financial freedom: Learning a high demand skill is literally one way to punch your ticket to financial freedom. You get paid well to deliver, and the best part of it is you can do as many jobs as you want at a time.

Self-reliant: You get to depend on yourself for anything and everything you may need. You need not ask for a loan from family and Friends or have to wait for month end to be able to take care of your needs and wants.

CONCLUSION

As a Nigerian and as a student In any of it's public universities, I highly recommend you learn a skill. We can all see what's currently going on between ASUU and the Federal Government. It's best to utilize these free time by learning a skill. Thank you all for reading.
