Within the week I've been oppotuned to be under the tutelage of one of the finest musical director in this part of the country, and during the course of my training the director kept hitting on one word "being intentional"
Being at a place where the action is taking place does not necessarily mean you are growing.
You might be a member of a team for a number of years and still be at a spot, as a result of not being intentional, you might attend church from Sunday to Sunday without knowing Christ as a result of not being intentional, you might attend classes every day and still not perform well at the examination, you might take all the online courses available and still not improve, you might attend all the masterclasses you can and still not grow, you might own a business for years and still find it difficult to dominate the market, all as a result of NOT "being intentional"
It's not just about the action but doing it delibrately, monitoring all the parameters involved and constant reflection on the process.
Being present does not signify your growth, don't get me wrong the Environment also matters, but growth is a process not just an action
Be mindful of the little changes you need to make in order to grow
