Why is he/she your favourite Lecturer or professor

Today I want to talk about my favourite lecturer in the person of Dr John Adesina. Now the reason I have chosen him to be my favourite lecturer is because of his pattern of handling issues be it educationally or mentally as well as emotional issues. As a young student at the university, it is always difficult to cope with the happenings around the school if you don't have someone to mentor you.

On my arrival at the school, I never had anybody to guide me or direct me on what to do and what not to do. The school was not too sweet for me because I was struggling to make it into all aspects. Despite everything, it was not still very easy for me but then I decided to take a bold step and met the Dr. to help me.

While having a conversation with him on the issues, he told me clearly that education is good and enjoyable when you have someone to guide you. The way he taught me some of the courses I was finding difficult and the advice he normally gives to me at all times made me became closer to him. I decided to open up all that I am facing in my academics to him so had iced and guided me all through the entire process and from then my educational history changed.

How did you meet him

I met the Dr. in the school. I needed a mentor and a guide to always direct me in all my doings, so I met him and he agreed. I have been seeing students around him and he normally says whenever we are having any form of challenge in our studies, we should not hesitate to tell him. With that being said, I looked for an opportunity to meet with him and also I asked him to become my mentor.

My meeting with him was immediately after one of his classes where he taught us a topic titled Langranger Multiplier. I didn't understand the topic so I approached him and he said I can come to his office in any spare time so that we can discuss the topic together. So on reaching his place, I told him all my problems and I requested that he becomes my mentor and guardian and he accepted.

Tell us also more about him and his unique qualities

Dr John is a very free man and also a very simple person. He is friendly and very accommodating. When I first encountered him in the office, he said to go and help me and buy two bottles of minerals. I went thinking he wanted to give to someone else or he want to drink them both. But surprising after buying the drinks he asked me to sit down and then drink one while he drinks the other.

That is how he made me free and also, before our conversation he brought in a lot of funny stories and we laughed together. After that, he notices I am now free with him he then asked me to tell him all that is bothering me. I was able to narrate the entire story about myself to him because of the atmosphere he created.

Conclusion

I want to say a big thank you to all the organisers of this amazing contest. I want to appreciate my able lecturer as well as the person of Dr John. I wish he could see this very article I have written about him on this faithful day. Thanks, everyone for this amazing privileged.
