Introduction

Hello everyone, it's the one and only boss Ronin,it's been a while since my last article on this community, just now, my exams are about to commence and those admins and Lecturers are after my life, mentally and financially.
After so much consideration, I decided to share some useful tips on ways to overcome study issues before an examination period and all stress that comes with it.

Studying

It can be very difficult to engage into the routine of higher education during an examination period, especially when you choose an intense course and multitask classes with a full or part time job. Fortunately, these old habits and distractions don't have to get in the way of your university degree again. I'm giving you these eight productive and effective study customs for university/college students into your daily routine, and see yourself evolve into a qualified and competent scholar. They are very easy to follow and execute and require only a committed mindset to follow through.

  • SCHEDULE YOUR STUDY SESSIONS
Rather than compacting study sessions in between classes and naps, Choose a specific time and location that's peaceful and quiet, Then set a specific alone time with yourself each weak, and cling to it.
Back in secondary school, my teachers always talked about this reality. Always have a study time table so when you want to revise you would know what topics you understand and the ones you don't, then take your time to read through before your exams commence.

  • WRITE DOWN AND REVIEW STRAIGHT-OUT NOTES IN CLASS
In university, I realized you would do alot of course you never really anticipated, Like a Law student taking IT, this could really reduce most students moral to study and they wouldn't be willing to read it until when necessary.
Whether you're going through a lecture or doing an assigned reading, always take notes. You'll understand key points and ideas more quickly by writing them down immediately. Also don't be afraid of asking your course mates for a refresher if you missed one or two lectures.

  • CLOSE OUT LIFESTYLE DISTRACTIONS
Modern Technology offers unfamiliar ways to access new information. However, it also creates distractions that can prevent you from concentrating or focusing on your studies. Always cling to academic websites, turn off your your phone.
After doing research on the web, turn off your Data/Wifi connection Immediately as you have enough information to write down and to avoid distraction from Various social medias platforms. By doing this, your ensuring yourself to be determined to study smart and have no form of doubt in the exams hall.

  • GET ENOUGH SLEEP
The human brain needs to recharge regularly in order to take up and process new information. Most times, all-nighters are unavoidable, but don't let it become a habit, because Inadequate sleep can prevent you from learning or studying effectively. Give yourself a day off to make up for lost sleep to avoid lack of concentration in classes and study sessions.

  • STUDY AS A GROUP OR WITH A PARTNER
Study groups have big influence on scholars before a big tests. Nowadays, many University students have realized how helpful and productive it is to help one another throughout the course period. You can quiz each other, exchange notes and most of all, hold each other responsible for showing up to each planned session. By doing this you not only improve your learning abilities but also have a deep interaction and relation with your friends.

  • EXERCISE YOUR BODY TO RELEASE STRESS
Rather than conceding to pressure and anxiety until studying seems insuperable, finding a more productive outlet to express your frustration is suitable. It is said that Physical activity can release endorphins which helps to reduce anxiety and stress, and it also improve muscular movement both physically and Mentally. With that being said, exercising is a sure way of enhancing your cerebral activities.

  • EAT HEALTHY AND BALANCED FOODS
Nutrition have a big influence in your ability to learn and think. Rather than trusting on caffeine and sugar, drink a lot of water and also ensure you get enough fruits and vegetables. A well rested and nourished hydrated body is capable of staying awake and observant without help from chemicals.
As scholars in Nigeria, I know it's hard to get a decent meal in this economy deterioration but don't let that get into your goal of academic success.

  • ASK OTHERS FOR HELP IF NEEDED
Don't be afraid to reach out to your professors, and course mate if you think you're falling behind. Whether you have trouble understanding a new topic or just need help managing your time, the university is full of people who know exactly what you're going through and can offer numerous solutions for you.

Conclusion

I hope that these few tips I just portrayed would help some student out there struggling with time to study and help with there other problems. I decided to post this here because as campus students, we should be able to relate to what each one of us is going through to find solution to our problems.
Hopefully this article could help someone out there.
