Hello friends
Welcome to my blog. It is a great privilege to be among those participating in this unique contest organised by the @campusconnet community. Today I want to attend the contest number 26 which is about My Favourite Lecturer.

There is no doubt that every student tends to have a lecturer which he prefers to the others no matter the situations. Though as a student, we are always advice never to dislike or hate any lecturer if an only if you want to pass the course with good grade. Psychologist have proven that disliking a lecturer can lead to the dislike of the course as well.

Though we are human and definitely we have feelings and emotions and for that reason we will always have this sentiment in our hearts. And that is the reason today I will be discussing with us about my favourite lecturer and the reason I choose him as my favourite.

Why is he/she your favorite Lecturer or professor

My favourite lecturer is Mr. Yohanna Joel, he is from Donga a local government area of Taraba State. Since I entered the university, his method of lecturing really attracted me to him. Mr. Yohanna Joel did his first and second degree in Califonia and for that reason, his partner of lecturing was more like that of the white.

Mr. Yohanna Joel will never spend two hours straight to lecture, according to him the time is too much to sit and be talking. He said and I quote "the brain does not need this type of stress". So anytime we have his lecture, we only spend and hour for the lecture and after that, the next one hour will be use for interaction.

This partner of his lecture made a lot of student to understand the course very fast. At the course of interaction, those who have better understanding of the course will be given few minutes to discuss the course under review. His course is one of the course I don't spend much time to study and the reason is because you always remember all he has taught via the interaction section.

Mr. Yohanna Joel Yohanna course is one of the courses that I usually have higher grades when it comes to exams. Almost every student passes his course because of the pattern he uses for his lecturing.

How did you meet him

I came in contact with Mr. Yohanna Joel in the prestigious Federal University Wukari, Taraba state Nigeria. When I was given admission into this prestigious university, he was the first lecturer I came in contact with. As a matter of fact, he was my level adviser. My first encounter with him was during my registration. I was amazed and surprised when I saw the young handsome looking guy and I was directed to meet him for my registration.

Well, the way I manner he attended to me that very first day we met really kept a soft spot in my heart for him. He attended to me as if we are all age mate. He told me to be free and as I submit my documents for documentation he gentle asked me few personal questions which I answered and in conclusion he said if you have any issues with your studies don't hesitate to tell me.

Tell us also more about him and his unique qualities

As I have earlier started above, Mr. Yohanna Joel is a very simple and straight forward person. He doesn't like stress for one bit and that is the very reason why he doesn't spend two hours for his lecture. To add to that, he is very approachable. He happens to be one of the simplest lecturer we have in the department.

He is God fearing and always ready to assist. When ever any student complains to his hearing about foodstuffs or any financial issues, be will stop at nothing until he sees that the need of that student has been met. He is also a very good counsellor. When ever any student is not doing well in his studies, he will always call and find out the reason for the failure and try to solve the problem.

Conclusion

Mr. Yohanna Joel has been my mentor from day 1. Till this moment, I always go to him for advice when ever I want to take any decision be it academically or other wise. He is not just a lecturer he is also a friend and a brother. He has always been very supportive in my education both in cash and in kind. I am so delighted that I came across this beautiful soul.
