Hello Friends, how are you all doing? Hope everyone is doing well.

In the world today Agriculture is very important because it's one of the most sources of livelihood.

Today was at my farm where I am currently doing my project work to actually know how well the crop I planted was doing.

This project started with the #composting of Cow dung and biochar for 90 days, it was tested for maturity using an earthworm which survived after some days to show that the treatments were due for planting.

It was now taken to the field to be applied in an experimental bag, which was filled each with 10kg of soil sample mixed with the treatments and laidout in a green house for 4days before planting on it.

So many scholars who worked on this particular test crop #Amaranthus have either composted poultry droppings or applied them fresh from the farm and it gave them a nice results too but with a lower yield compared to this.

But the objectives of this experiment, is to determine the effects of composted cow dung and biochar on the growth of Amaranthus and mixed biochar nd composted cow dung on the growth of Amaranthus has shown a huge difference in their performances in terms of growth.

Also the ability to let people know that the protein you can actually get from your beef you can as well get enough quantity of them from #Amaranthus, that you can actually substitute beef for Amaranthus which can be planted in your home gardens.

Visiting my project work today was a very good one and am delighted to share my experience there so far with you all.
