When our lastborn was born, she was a real cute little nuisance. Her frequent cries and all the fuss my parents, aunties and neighbours made around her were enough to get on my nerves on the fourth day that she arrived. Mommy had told me that she came from heaven or should I paraphrase that God sent her down from heaven to our family but I guess that I had had enough already.

Mommy said that she was just a baby o and it was the work of babies to cry. When the cries became unbearable, I began to ask God to take back this "crying Angel" as I had named her, but it seems as if God had decided to support her just like everyone else.

Things changed when she became a toddler. Oh goodness! She helped me develop my skill in arguing over trivial issues. Watching us, you would think that we were in a court of law with my crying angel as the lawyer trying to defend her client while I was the magistrate sitting with a gavel in my hand to strike at the slightest chance.

How about being scolded for an offence Her Majesty committed. You can't get angry at her because the innocent look on her face as she sits self-aware of the wahala she has incited will cause all the uptight nerves in you to loosen automatically.

Did you ask me the best thing that has ever happen to me?
Well...it is the joy of seeing my little sis all grownup, mature and not giving me lots of trouble.
