Goodday ladies and gent @campusconnect and @steemit entirely, it's a pleasure taking part in this contest.
Thanks to @whitestallion and his crews.

This is a very wonderful and practical contest topic we have here. I felt a bit excited seeing the topic @steemcampushype, even without it featuring here as a contest, propagating the gospel of this community and the platform itself is supposed to be a reflex action to any well meaning steemian. This has been a member of my agenda and I thank God for the success so far.

So, talking about ways in which people can beconvinced into subscribing to this platform are enormous. Starting from my involvement already, the enormous ways are.......

Supporting/sponsoring a project

We all know the state of this country and how it have affected everybody adversely, especially financially. This has in a large extent reduced the rate at which students receive assistance from their sponsors and in some cases no longer receive anything at all. This in turn have made academic activities unbearable and a survival of the fittest kind of, students barely feed these days.

Hence, students in this condition sees any project that comes to them no matter how little as a scarecrow or threat to their academics, thus, leading many to deep thinking and depression. At the long run, some even consider quitting as an option.

Therefore, this becomes every good opportunity to fit into the situation. Own up to the responsibilities that comes with the project including the financial implications with the hashtag, thanks to @steemcampus.

Same attitude is also extended to the different associations in the university

*Just as the saying goes, "a rich man is a god to the poor, that's how they will start hovering around you to know the secret".. then you let it out.

The above image is plankton, a project we were shared to produce group by group.
Other groups were already involved in a fight trying to raise money for theirs while I single handedly handled my groups own without asking for a dine from anybody. This got everyone asking, how, and I credited it to steemit.
And the second is the just concluded fish feed formulation which I also made a significant financial contribution....

The effectiveness of seeing is believing can not be over emphasised, hence, it becomes important that you spend some money on them just to instigate their curiosity.
And since things are hard, it would also be a huge breakthrough if you supply some food items to the students as though you are campaigning for a position with a stick that bears the steemit logo attached on the food items.

In as much as pen seems a bit simple and relatively cheap, we cannot ignore the fact that students can not do without it. This becomes more significant during the examination periods.

Towards exams, there is usually a massive turnup as regards examination prayer in various fellowships. A handfull of these students do attend with the sole aim of getting a writing material, thus, you can supply packets of steemcampus pen to the various fellowships which would later be shared to the students.

As a matter of fact, this becomes very important because it will save you a big cost even while reaching a wider population of students.

Buy as many cartons of pen as you wish, you can attach the steemit sticker on the body or on the tube of the pen.
Ensure it reaches all the College's and department in your school, and I bet you, even the staffs will start asking for theirs.

Same goes to printing of customized exercise books with steemit informations on the cover pages, with a title like @steemcampus exercise book.

These charitable gesture can be extended to the grass roots, a lower educational level like the primary and secondary Schools, a concept known as #catch them young.

Run a give away package

You can start running a give away program in different platforms of the school.

Such giveaway could be airtime, just as I did recently.

Recharge card no matter how little is a very strong tool to attract a crowd especially in academic environment. Not all students have what they are doing to raise money for their time to time subscription which is a necessity for sourcing informations for their assignments, projects and other related paper works.
Most of the students do get low grades as a result of half hazard work done and late submission of of their assignments, some even fail totally because they couldn't do it, no thanks to no data subscription. And some couldn't just lay hands on free WiFi.

Therefore, running a giveaway program of airtime will serve as a very great solution and thus attract larger number of students to hear what you have to say (who no like free thing).

However, you can still run a giveaway of other products other than just airtime.

Tutorials and extra lessons

Its always significant that it's not everything that is been thought to the students in the conconventional class is properly understood by the students, since the lecturer tries to rush everything because of limited time given to him and he also wants to meet up with the cumbersome curriculum, and then will end up leading the students into more confusions.

This is especially significant amongst the new students who usually possess the highest number in the student biomas.

But, they usually do not panic as much, because they believe that they will get better after attending tutorials, however, they usually panic because they do not have money to pay for the tutorials, and this is where you come in.

Printing of T-shirts

T-shirts are unquestionably a mobile signboard, as I chose to call it, and as such very effective means of advertisement since it travels a lot.

Though it's relatively very expensive in printing a T-shirt and not as if you are going to produce a T-shirt that would be shared to the whole students in the school, but you can make it worthwhile... How?

You can initiate a contest in which all the students are allowed to participate in. Among the gifts that are to be won by the winners, the T-shirt will serve a great purpose.

Radio broadcast

Radio stations covers a wide range of population even beyond your own campus, state and even country.
Therefore, there would be a massive breakthrough surfacing at a radio station with the good news of @steemcampus connect.
A wide range of audience would ask questions which would be carefully attended to for better understanding.

However, you can also pay for a short time advertisement package, let's say 3 months or more. The end of this will surely result to a boom.

Public Sensitization and pasting of stickers at strategic points

You can cultivate the habit of moving from class as to class with loudspeaker as early as possible when the students have gathered in wait for their lecturer.
Ensure you distribute the flyers, stickers and even posters to them.

From there, a team can be formed who would help in circulating any related informations as regards @steemcampus to the public.
Supply enough of the flyers in the bill boxes, paste posters at school gates, departments, eateries etc.

Football competition

Exercise it's very essential for proper functioning of the human system, example is football.

We all know how football had gained a very ground in our communities and all over the globe. Hence, you cannot engage in a sports talk without having excess comment from people.

Therefore, a football competition can be sponsored in partnership with the Students Union Government.
A competition that will feature the whole students in the university as in (intra-university or interuniversity football competition.
Apart from football, other competition can also be arranged.
And who even told you that staffs wouldn't want to take part in the competition.

Free transportation

Most at times, students do miss classes because of the distance of their position to the lecture hall. Some don't even have the strength at all to trek, while many don't even have money for transportation. These among other reasons makes them to forfeit going to lectures for some days.

But the students happiness would know no bound when they get to realize that they will no
be asked of any dine anytime they board a cab within the school.
This will serve as a great motivation and will drastically reduce the rate of absenteeism as witnessed in the recent time.

The cabs to be used for this purpose will all have the steemcampus sticker pasted on the body and the driver will also have stickers or flyers to be shared to the passengers (students).

The above listed points are just few among the plenty effective ways of hyping @steemcampus.
