My Diary Post for Aug 18th-Promoting steemit at university of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

Hello guys 😁😁 and welcome to my blog today as I drive you through my activities today.

On Tuesday 17th Aug I had traveled a 133km(3hrs) journey from umudike Micheal okpara university of agriculture to my Enugu. The day's travel stress yesterday took its toll the next day. I woke up late around 8:3am after a loud alarm had gone off, I got up said my prayers, and got to work with my computer.

I went online to check a few messages on Whatsapp and notifications on steemit. While on Whatsapp I could see visibly the excitement of steemains waiting patiently for scheduled steemit hangout in the university of Nigeria, Enugu campus.

This program was scheduled to take place by 4 pm in the evening in order to accommodate students who had classes during the day. So I had to wait and while I was waiting all I did was just sleep. I slept for 2 hours, I got up by 2 pm and got to work again.

By 3:15 @alphafx was back home so we could prepare for the program, I had my bath and we left for the location inside the school campus. We arrived late because of the unprecedented and terrible traffic while on our way when I got to the venue we had the guys already waiting for us.

We shared few words of apology and immediately started our hangout, we had new guys who didn't know much about steemit so we had to start from scratch to explain the basics. It was a wonderful moment talking to them they seem to genuinely care about what I shared and I was more than happy to educate them to the best of my ability.

For instance, the newbies had a lot of questions that needed answering which I did, they also wanted to know more and how stuff worked. By the end of they were good to go and of complete knowledge. We had refreshments and talked throughout the session.

By the end of the program, I had a few steemit T-shirts for guys on this campus which I shred to them, I also managed to successfully set up Team Unec- a team of active steemians promoting steemit in Unec.

By the time we were done, we had achieved something spectacular and beautiful. We took a cab back home, purchased food at a restaurant and I retired to make my reports and diary game.
