Today I come to compete in this activity of high contagion and a lot of discipline as it is the Rugby 🏈🏈🏈 of English origin.

Rugby is a sport that teaches you many values, where you have to work as a team to achieve good results, in this game there are no outstanding players as such, but the whole team plays exceptionally well. You can not question the referee without asking him to speak and much less you can shout or make claims in a bad tone, this teaches us respect, always salute when the game is over, congratulate the opponent and thank him for the game.

In Rugby there is an after game, where the teams meet and all rivalries are left on the field, this is called the third time.

When a fight breaks out on the field, the crowd will boo them because that's not what Rugby is about. All these things that happen when you start to learn about this world teach you for life and not just for the moment.

I wanted you to know this before starting the contest so that you know how beautiful Rugby is

I will start from the beginning, in Rugby there are two main modalities which are: Sevens and XV both are played on the same field of a maximum of 100 X 70 meters.

{In Sevens, 7 players per team play, with 2 halves of 7 minutes each}

{In XV, 15 players per team play, with 2 halves of 40 minutes each.}

The objective of each team on the court is to take the ball, advance towards the enemy and score points in order to win the game.

To start the game, one of the teams must kick the ball to its opponent, thus starting the game.

Points can be earned through

Trys
Conversions
Penalty kicks
Drop kicks

Trys are equivalent to 5 points, they are scored by placing the ball in the In-Goal zone and each time a Try is scored, a conversion is awarded.

Conversion equals 2 points, it is a kick that is made from any point located on an imaginary straight line starting from where the try is made.

Penalties are worth 3 points and are awarded when there is an infraction.

Drop kicks are worth 3 points and are made while the game is in progress.

It is important to know that for the Sevens modality, penalties and conversions are made in the form of a Drop. That is to say, the ball must hit the ground before being kicked and for the XV a base for the ball called TEE is used.

Basic rules

The ball cannot be passed forward, passes in Rugby must always be backwards or on the same line as the player. The only way the ball can be passed forward is by kicking it or by the player moving forward with it.
If the ball drops and kicks forward it is a foul and is called a "knock-on". If the ball drops and kicks backwards, play continues.

When a player is knocked down to prevent him from advancing, the player who is knocked down must pass or release the ball immediately and the player who is knocked down must release it immediately and the referee who decides if there is an infraction or if it should be penalized is the referee who is in charge of enforcing the rules.

There are also referees located on the boundary lines of the field who are in charge of warning when the ball or player leaves the field or providing information to the center referee about a play that is not clear. The center referee can stop the timekeeper, but only when there are injuries.

Rugby can be played by any type of person, be it small, tall, thin, fat, among others.... This is because this game is managed with various positions where skill, agility, strength, speed, power and intelligence to size the field are required.

Now I will tell you about the team that I chose for this contest: Alcobendas Rugby from Madrid Spain, in the research that I had to do I chose this country, because Rugby is very similar to soccer and as I like Real Madrid I thought it should be good and to be honest, the truth is that I did not know this wonderful game and the closest to my country Venezuela that is practiced is in our sister Colombia.

Hoy vengo a concursar en esta actividad de alto contagio y mucha disciplina como lo es el Rugby 🏈🏈🏈 de origen Ingles.

El Rugby es un deporte que te enseña muchos valores, donde se tiene que trabajar en equipo para lograr buenos resultados, en este juego no sé no se destacan jugadores como tal, sino que todo el equipo juega de manera excepcional. No puedes cuestionar al árbitro sin pedirle la palabra y mucho menos puedes gritar o hacer reclamos en un mal tono, esto nos enseña el respeto, siempre se saluda cuando se acaba el partido, se felicita al adversario y se le agradece por el juego.

En el Rugby hay un después de cada partido, donde se reúnen los equipos y todas las rivalidades quedan en el campo, a esto se le llama el tercer tiempo.

Cuando se forma una pelea en el campo, el publico los abucheá porque ese no es el objetivo del Rugby. Todas estas cosas que se presentan cuando comienzan a conocer este mundo, te enseñan para vida y no solo para el momento.

Quería que supieran esto antes de comenzar el concurso para que sepan lo hermoso que es el Rugby

Comenzaré desde el principio, en el Rugby hay dos modalidades principales que son: Seven y XV ambas se juegan en la misma cancha de un máximo de 100 X 70 metros.

{En Seven juegan 7 jugadores por equipo, con 2 tiempo de 7 minutos cada uno}

{En XV juegan 15 jugadores por equipo, con 2 tiempos de 40 minutos cada uno]

El objetivo de cada equipo en la cancha es tomar el balón, avanzar hacia el enemigo y anotar puntos para poder ganar el encuentro.

Para iniciar el juego, uno de los equipos debe entregar el balon a su adversario mediante una patada de esa manera se empieza el juego.

Los puntos se pueden conseguir mediante

Trys
Conversiones
Penales
Patadas de drop

Los Trys equivale a 5 puntos, se logran apoyando el balón en la zona de In-Goal y cada vez que se hace un Try se otorga una conversión.

Conversión equivale a 2 puntos, es una patada que se hace desde cualquier punto ubicado en una linea recta imaginaria que empieza desde donde se hace el try.

Los penales tienen un valor de 3 puntos y se conceden cuando hay una infracción.

Las patadas de Drop tienen un valor de 3 puntos y se hacen mientras transcurre el juego.

Es importante que sepan que para la modalidad de Seven, los penales y las conversiones se hacen a manera de Drop. Es decir, el balón debe picar en el piso antes de ser pateado y para el XV se emplea una base para el balón que se llama TEE.

Reglas básicas

El balón no puede pasarse hacia delante, los pases en Rugby siempre tienen que ser hacia atrás o en la misma linea que va el jugador. La única manera de que el balón valla hacia delante es mediante una patada o que el jugador avance con él.
Si el balón se cae y pica hacia delante es una falta y se denomina "Knock-on" Pero por el contrario si balón cae y pica hacia atrás, el juego continua.

Cuando un a un jugador lo derriban para impedir su avance, este jugador derribado debe pasar o soltar el balón inmediatamente y el derribador al caer junto con el derribado, debe soltarlo de inmediato y el que decide si hay infracción o si se debe penalizar es el arbitro central que es el encargado de hacer cumplir el reglamento.

También hay árbitros ubicados en las lieas limites de la cancha que son los encargados de avisar cuando la pelota o el jugador sale del campo o proporcionar información a el arbitro central sobre alguna jugada que no es clara. El arbitro central puede parar el cronometro del tiempo, pero solamente cuando hay lesiones.

El Rugby puede ser jugado por cualquier tipo de personas, sea pequeño, alto, delgado, gordo entre otros... Esto se debe a que este juego se maneja con varias posiciones en donde la habilidad, agilidad, fuerza, velocidad, potencia y inteligencia para dimensionar el campo son requeridas.

Ahora te hablare de el equipo de que elegí para este concurso: Alcobendas Rugby de Madrid España, en las investigaciones que me toco hacer elegí este país, ya que el Rugby se parece mucho al futbol y como me gusta el Real Madrid supuse que debería ser bueno y para ser sincero, la verdad es que no conocía este maravilloso juego y que lo mas cercano de mi país Venezuela que se practica es en nuestra hermana Colombia.
