American journalist of Chilean origin Gonzalo Lira, based in Kharkov, disappeared from the Internet on April 15. There were dark suspicions that he could already be physically ‘cancelled’…

Fortunately, Gonzalo contacted the editorial office of The Duran channel today, confirming that he was in detention of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).

He was left without a computer, mobile phone and access to his accounts on the Internet, but he is alive and well. It seems that American citizenship protected him from the severe consequences of his objective attitude regarding the crisis in Ukraine. Here is the first call from a few hours ago:
