What's Up everyone! This weeks community curation has a lovely mix of different topics. We focus on all things sustainable, as well as the deep and meaningful. We have such special authors writing that curating has never been so interesting! Our Question of the week has just launched, and we already have a handful of posts. If you would like to join us for the QOTW about music you can see the post here

Thank you to everyone who shares with us, its you guys who make our community what it is! Your posts will live forever on the blockchain to inspire and help us all. If you do post regularly and receive good upvotes please consider sending a bit of delegation to @ecotrain! We can barely keep up with the curating and really appreciate your support, which comes right back at you 100 fold!

It has been another abundant week for many of you who have posted to the ecoTrain community, with many posts receiving $10-$20 upvotes from our supporters... and especially with the support of OCD and their community support initiative. If you didn't know, OCD are now partnering with several communities on Hive to help to decentralise our communities and reward posts in niche communities that don't have many up-votes or support. This is a very special initiative and shows how Hive and the decentralised model is so very different to centralised capitalism. A normal capitalist attitude would consider having one popular community, and holding a huge amount of VP to be a great success.. but on Hive it is not what we want, and it is VERY good to see our witnesses such as @acidyo doing what they can to keep things decentralised. Click here for more info.

So to all of you who are either new to Hive, or post good content that is rarely noticed or rewarded.. now is a GREAT time to post to the ecoTrain community and start getting the kind of rewards your posts deserve.

This week I would like to share a few posts that have received our combined support, and touch on some of the subjects that ecoTrain support. These topics include:

"Sustainability, ecoVillages, Community, Self-sufficiency, Off-grid Living, Homesteading, Permaculture, Alternative Energy, Alternative Lifestyle, Natural Health, Cooking, Eco-Building, Earthships, Recycling, Esoteric, Inner Transformation, Spiritual, Nature"

Much love and see you for the next Question Of The Week which comes out tomorrow.

Be aware of the importance of your subconscious mind

Every minute three trillion worn out cells are discarded by your body, your nerves and your brain, and every three minutes they are replaced by new cells, which allows us to corroborate the wisdom of our body. Human nature involves us in a constant change that favors our organism, our body, and also gives us the opportunity to change for better or worse, in you is the decision to choose your "new version".

The subconscious plays a very significant role in the process of change, not only because of its function within the process of generating new cells but also because it receives more than 500,000 items every minute, in other words, it receives bits of knowledge transmitted by impulses from its nervous system through its brain. The subconscious is the system that controls your life, the one that builds your reality, ignoring its transcendence in you is like being adrift in the sea.

How to save a dying Citrus || Citrus Tree Disease

i love plant very much. my one citrus orange plant with drying branches disease is going to dying, but now i have aim to save its life. so there is only way to save its life, if any citrus plant branches are going to drying and dying, from top of the plant its mean there is cancer disease, or it is known as sokhra disease, it is very much dangerous disease that killed the health plant in few week, so it is very much easy to judge this disease, and we can save plant life, so if any time you see this disease then cut the all branches of the tree from bottom, if you will cut the branches from the bottom then, disease will not spread to other area of plants so first and last method of this disease is to cut the affected branches from bottom , so in this way we can stop the spread of disease to other branches, so for this purpose always cut sharp plant ssessor .

ecoVillages Journal #33: Week 2 Of My New Off-grid Yurt Life

It's hard to believe it has been my second week living on our ecoVillages land. It feels like i have left my apartment life far behind, and I am almost ready to let it go! It is amazing that it is possible to get my basic needs and comfort met so quickly. I sit here typing this in a cosy Yurt, powered by my small homemade lithium ion battery and just one 100W solar panel.

I have spent most of the last week making a compost toilet and composting 'box' that will treat my humanure well enough that in a year or two it will make great compost. I also have a wood burning stove in place and almost ready to fire up for when it gets cold here, which is very soon. I’m told that a yurt with a wood burner is much warmer than a traditional stone house which is very hard to keep warm even at moderate low temperatures.

EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CHEMISTRY EDUCATION

Hello friends readers of the Hive community. In this issue we will be talking about the relationship between Science Education focused on chemistry and Sustainable Development, a polysemic concept that has been studied as a consequence of the environmental damage caused by society.

INTRODUCTION The population as a whole needs a scientific-technological culture that allows it to understand and relate to its environment and participate in the problems of society. In this sense, UNESCO (1997), in the Report of the Sixth Meeting of the Regional Intergovernmental Committee of the Major Project of Education in Latin America, states that:

"Science education in the context of education in general, must be committed to contribute to the formation and preparation of each and every young person so that they can face and cope with their later life, that is, that they have the capacity to apply the knowledge achieved through science education in different situations of their daily life".

In this way, if we take a look at the different levels of education around the world, we can see that access to quality science education is not currently balanced. People still perceive themselves as citizens without a minimum handling of scientific concepts and facts, due to not having the opportunity to develop some fundamental skills or procedures common to science in school, which would allow them to develop properly in daily life.

The Narratives & Complexities That Arises When We Look At The Cause Of Failure & Rejection

There's not one right attitude for handling most dire circumstances or situation in life. Sometimes we do what we deem as the right thing and it ends up badly for us, sometimes we do what we feel is the the wrong thing and it ends up really well for us this shows that most times the outcome of the things that happens to us is hardly determinant on ours actions. One thing I've learnt in life is that sometimes we don't need to attain a height of perfection for people to accept us but then there's always a stage of rejection which we often experience and we begin to think that we're facing these series of rejection due to the the fact that we're not standard, up to par, good enough or even perfect and this is often because of the inferiority we feel everything we experience rejection.

Life is big and sometimes we find ourselves enclosed in a circle of people with the same mindset and do not see anything worthwhile in us but then we fail to understand that life is big and we might never really meet the people who would find us worthwhile and valuable and this is saddening. Some people might never find true happiness in life and this is because they might never find the right job, the right friends, the right adventure or even the right kind of love. On the surface, this seems sad but then it's reality and it doesn't exist to please anyone. If people however are never exposed to the right things for them they'll end up having to always blame themselves, their attitude, their way of life or even everything they stand for.

Bitter Melons Seeds NOW Available!

While Supplies Last.

After getting the encouragement from @homesteaderscoop to getting into selling things online last year, we also opened up an etsy shop. During the while "pandemic scare" we shut down for a while, but after so many people requested that we start selling seeds again, we are back open for business. I'll do a full post covering all of our current listings soon, but for now, I wanted to mention that the Bitter Melon Seeds just went live!

Learning how to make pesto with basil & parsley 🌿

Looking for a way to store an abundance of courtyard grown basil & parsley I came across the simple process of turning it all into pesto. I had heard of the classic pesto which combines basil with garlic, pine nut, olive oil & a touch of salt, but never had I heard of using parsley or other nuts. So, it was with a great amount of pleasure I was finally able to have my pesto making day!

I would like to give a big shout out to my teacher on this one, YouTube. We vilify them for their censorship but they do at least still let us learn such things with relative ease. And for this they deserve praise. Along with that crazy variety of content providers who all inevitably contradict each other and leave us only with a sense of the basics and the reality that everyone embellishes on this in their own way.
